So glad this store re opened under new management. One of the worst parts of living in Damascus is that you have to leave Damascus to get pretty much anything done (unless it can be done at Safeway or Jimmie Cone). This store is bright and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful, too! I never have to wait until a line like at the store in Clarksburg and there's adequate parking. I'm glad to see this store open back up and bring a few jobs to our community!

First time coming in and probably wont come back again.
Just moving to 5 min away and for over the yrs i take all my Amazon returns to Germantown UPS.
Couple weeks ago I realized this one opened and is always empty since I heard they went out business before i said to all my family to use them to bring them business .
So i came with 2 boxes to return to amazon.
The lady took 20 min to notarized some paper and do some prints for people before me.
My turn she said I had to buy tape to close my 2 boxes because amazon requested .
I said " never ever Germatown asked me however I understood they need to keep doors opens and I purchased a $4 tape. The gurl behind me also did not have tape and said " can u tape for me? " the lady said well ur 2 boxes is not that big so she taped.
In was in shocked she did that in my face.
I said " wow ? what a customer service!!!"
The rules should be for everyone
My box was much larger then hers but same 20" of tape for both as my box was all 3 side closed just top opened and the girl was 2 sides of tape.
She looked me like I was not there
Anyway.
I felt very bad.
That never happened to me before.
Unless is an emergency they wont see my business.

I am a bit confused, actually about 10 of us are, as I sit here in front of the Damascus Md UPS store thinking what has gone wrong? I love the service and friendly customer service of this store, however this morning Thursday April 27 2023 at 9:46, I, we have been waiting outside the store for the shop to open, since 9:00 am the lights are on in the store, there is no one coming to open the door for business, In talking to folks that were here to drop off packages at least 10, one lady said it was closed yesterday as well, she gave up and drove to the Mt Airy UPS store. I cant wait any longer I will go to Mt. Airy as well. It would be nice if they could leave a note on the door saying when they will reopen, before I left I tried calling this store and they said that the number was disconnected, hows that for informing the customers. Hopefully things will return to normal in the meantime it sure would be nice and polite of UPS to put a sign on the door at least.

This is a wonderful store. The associates are so friendly and helpful. I've been there several times with Amazon returns. They just take the box, scan my code, and hand me a receipt. Couldn't be easier.
