“Nice, run down neighborhood "corner store" it's like a 7-11 or wawa way back in the day. Very nice older couple run the place. Looks dirty but it's really not,,,, its aged. I stop in to get a soda every time I'm in that area.”

“Last year, my family and I had a hard time finding the Christmas tree we thought would be perfect for us. We drove almost all over the place, looking for that tree. We happen upon Vince's Farm and Nursery and found our perfect Christmas tree. This year, we didn't look far. We went straight to Vince's Farm and Nursery and found another perfect Christmas tree. Thank you, Vince's Farm and Nursery!”

“Love, love, love it here! I am a nutrition coach and personal trainer and follow a whole plant-based nutrition plan. Without the high quality and wide variety of produce offered by MOMs I would not be able to enjoy the health I currently have. I have 7+ "grocery stores" within a five-minute drive of my home, but I choose to travel 25 minutes one way each week to shop at MOMs Organic Market!”

“This is my first time experiencing Aldi with self check out. Which is great! Anytime I do come into contact with an employee, they are friendly and professional. I shop here often.”

“We LOVE these sandwiches! They also have frozen "take and bake" meals in the back and those have been super clutch in the past. I use their spaghetti sauce sometimes too because it's incredible. And the people in here are just awesome. Everyone is kind and welcoming. It's a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Like a little "small town" vibe in the heart of a big city. We love this place and the people in it!”

“Best subs in Baltimore. One piece of lasagna can easily feed 2 people. Delicious!! Worst part about being there is choosing what to eat. Can be difficult to find a place to sit.”

“This has been a grocery store I have gone to for my whole life, we might not live close to it any more but stop often when we are down in the dena. I have been shopping here since the door was in the middle of the store! lol”

“Giant Dundalk has been my grocery favorite for about 12 years. The cashier's are friendly and helpful. Anabell is a standout and model employee. She always has a nice greeting for the customers. The only complaint that I have are the changes to the checkout machines recently. The machines repeat the same audio messages to you and frequently lock up while scanning your groceries.”

“Quality! This little hole in the wall doesn't look like much but go inside and meet Song and grab some food... you'll be back again and again. You'll get to know Song and her family and she'll get to know you and yours and once she does, she never forgets ya and treats you like a long time friend <3”

“Y'all gotta pay Omare more. He is busting his butt in the self checkout! There was a long line, and he was checking up on everybody at the registers, asking if they need help, if they're doing good, etc. He even took it upon himself to check out customers so he could keep the line moving. Really nice guy.”

“For years I would shop at Nunnaly Brothers in Cross Street Market, going once a month to take advantage of their package deals and stock up our stand-up freezer. I was disappointed to learn they were forced to close when the market underwent renovations but excited to hear that the owner joined his brother at this butcher shop on Hanover Street. The deals are incredible, they're always willing to make a substitution if there's something you don't like, and the meat is local and fresh. I highly recommend this butcher shop for both a weekly trip, to stock up with their package deals, or if you're looking for something special that you can't find the grocery store (or can't find for this great a price)!”

“Prices are decent and their selection is pretty good. Their Google Pay does NOT work. We really like their bakery section and their produce. They also have an incredible selection of Tillamook ice cream”

“Most definitely a true *variety* store! Between hardware plus typical corner store goods, this kind gentleman also sold us some gorgeous cacti that have long overgrown their original containers - among countless other good finds. This place is the best!”

They offer an impressive range of products, including fresh produce, bakery items, and a diverse selection of international foods, all at very reasonable prices. Lidl's weekly specials and surprise deals add an exciting element to each visit. The quality of their products, particularly their private-label brands, is consistently high. The staff are friendly and efficient, contributing to a smooth shopping experience. Lidl is definitely a go-to for quality groceries at affordable prices.”

“I stopped on here today to see what this establishment has for retail sale. They had a really good selection of Greek foods and snacks. I got some candy, a koulouri thessalonikis (rounded seeded bread), and a package of koulourakia (dessert bread). It was all really good. If you want some Greek snacks or ingredients such as olive oil, this is a good place to stop.”

“Nice organic market in Highlandtown. I do all of my composting here. They provide buckets and collection for a small fee. Good quality products in their store as well!”

“Went here on a whim...b/c i didnt want to drive to ellicott city to get my shawarma fix....one downside is you may have to call to get ahold of someone at the front desk... it was empty when i went and the desk bell didnt help. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The shawarma is sooo much better than the one i got in EC (which tends towards a more tzaziki sauce)... the wings are on par with most bar wings (not a dealbreaker as they were still well portioned) and not overly fried. The fries are very well portioned and not too salty (yay!)... though the fries will not make great leftovers. Solid customer service. In a nutshell, try this place! Got this place bookmarked for later. Thanks!”

I'm glad I was able to find years b4 my parents departed. My Dad is 1st gen American. And my Mom 3rd. So it was nice to buy things of my and my parents youth. If you haven't ate kishka try it. “Ok, it would be hard to make this your single-stop grocery shopping experience. However there are many positive things that should make you add this to your list of favorites. The deli counter always has fresh cold cuts and can make a mean sandwich while you shop too. They have fresh sushi and other items entrees there too. The meat counter has been very accommodating and has good quality products. The dairy, produce and frozen sections has a surprisingly large selection of great items and the price is higher-but not outrageous. You will pay a little more, but I find it usually and easy in/out if you are worried about time or not looking for general household items.”

“Aldi's is EXACTLY what you've been told it is. Nothing more, nothing less. "Off-brand" food that tastes very similar or the same as what you're used too for a fraction of the price. Personally, I read labels and watch the nutritional info for everything I buy but not everyone has the time or tolerance to take the time to do that. It's just that important to me that my family is getting the best I can buy for the money that we have at that time. They have a huge selection of fresh fruits and veggies as soon as you walk in. They do have an aisle with items other than regular grocery items that are priced cheaply and are nice, kind of like a Family Dollar or Dollar General but just 1 aisle. It's def worth walking down and checking out if you have extra money and aren't on a tight budget. I've always found something that either my boys could use or would just love to have and or something for myself & the prices are always very reasonable. The cashiers have always been friendly (they are paid well too so that helps!) and they are quick #bc they don't bag your items, they scan and place them into another cart and keep it moving so the line always moves quickly. You'll need to bring bags or be prepared to buy some of theirs. They don't cost that much, I like to have reusable ones with me BUT I tend to forget them most of the time and end up buying some while I'm there. They have a counter where you can unload your cart after you pay so you can bag everything. I prefer pushing the cart right out to the vehicle and bagging as I unload and pack away, and organize the trunk. It takes less time that way but only works if you drove or someone drove you. If you walked, took a cab or bus then the countertop is awesome for you.”

“I wish I could give a 4.5 rating. I do my weekly shopping here and it's a great grocery shop. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've only seen one negative interraction, but that was between co-workers that was handled swiftly and professionally by the manager. The only real downside I have to the store is the layout. It's a little weird at first, but you'll get familiar with it over time.”

“Lovely grocery but the employees have cold attitude and make it uncomfortable to shop. Staring at shoppers like they’re doing something wrong creates an off-putting vibe. Great grocery selection though love it!”

“Geresbeck's Market is a local grocery market that we visit several times per year. This is an old school style grocery market like the ones that I remember when I was a kid. Geresbeck's is not a corporate and immaculately clean type of store. Geresbeck's Market is a little bit rough around the edges, just like Baltimore and the areas that this store serves. I feel like the store is a perfect match for Baltimore and surrounding areas. Geresbeck's has a large number of local products. They have many crab and old bay seasoning choices. They carry local product brands such as Wye River, J.O. Spices, Berger Cookies, and more. They have a large produce department with some local produce. They sell Baughers apples and apple cider in season. The have a full deli counter and seafood department. They always have cute Maryland theme and crab theme t-shirts and products in stock. I posted some photos from the store so you can see for yourself. Geresbeck's Market is not perfect but it is a great place to shop. The prices are not the best but you can buy products here that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff is always friendly and polite, if not a bit ditzy (but that is fine). There is a lot of free parking. There are not public bathrooms that I am aware of. I would recommend Geresbeck's as a place to shop for groceries, not every time though. We have so many other choices for groceries in this area. But please do shop at Geresbeck's and support a local business selling local products. And also please come in with the correct expectations that Geresbeck's Market is a bit rough around the edges, just like Baltimore is. Thank you!”
