After a 13 year relationship with this co. they wanted to,(just out of the blue,) start sending me a tank rental fee of 150.00 per year per tank. I never had that happen. Then when questioned he sent me our old contract that expired 10 years ago to show he can charge rent and the word rent isn't anywhere on the contract. What? do you think I'm stupid dude!?Just another fast-talking hustler that thinks he can send an invoice and thinks the customer will pay it to keep propane. There's too many honest propane cos. out there than to deal with you. BYE!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would.I just bought my first house with a propane tank back in June 2023. The previous homeowner was kind enough to leave me a list of businesses that he used to care for the house. I called Economy Propane and explained I was the new homeowner and wanted to keep the house on auto fill. My first fill was January 2024, no complaints. End of February 2024, I couldn't figure out why my house was so cold. My thermostat had an error code, I called Scardina and they sent a tec out that day. I was charged $370.00 for them to tell me my tank was completely empty. I was so confused because not only did I just have it filled, I am on auto fill. When I called Economy Propane, Bobby was extremely nice to me and had someone come out to fill my tank that day but only 250gal. to see if I was having a leak or if I just went through propane quickly (as we did just enter the cold months). He advised me that someone would be out the following Monday to reassess the issue. I called that following Monday to see if someone came out (as I was not home) to get the results so I knew the next steps to take. Doug (the owner) was EXTREMELY disrespectful and thought I was calling for "extra" testing. I tried to explain to him so many times that I did not want "extra" testing, I was just calling for the results but he kept cutting me off telling me I just wanted "free labor"... After going around and around I finally was told that the test result was done the same day they came out to fill my tank. However, If Doug simply told me that, I would have just scheduled to have someone come out to fill my tanks the rest of the way... Doug was more interested in arguing over thinking I wanted "free labor".The lack of respect AND communication has resulted in me seeking services from another business.

I cannot be more impressed by this company. They did their due diligence to make sure the tank setup was appropriate (with no charge to me). Came out a total of 3 times between inspections, filling, and testing (the testing being done on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule!). Great people and fantastic value

I want to share my experiences with Economy Propane. I am extremely happy with the service(s) I receive everytime I call for a fill up.I have been with Economy Propane for approximately three (3) years and quite satisfied. Bob and Doug make sure any questions I have are always answered. Would I recommend Economy Propane? Yes, I would.

I want to thank Bobby for his outstanding customer service. I had to call them at the last minute on a weekend for service and they came delivered and I'm so grateful. Bobby was very accommodating to our need. I would highly recommend Economy Propane!

Been with them for 6 years with my business. They always get paid they have always been given respect when they call (my personal number btw) we have full on conversations not just about propane. Bobby is a good guy for sure, I enjoy our talks and his service. Today though when I called for gas the manager told me I’d have to pay 100$ for empty tank fee and $200 for emergency fee even though I never said it was an emergency. I have extra heaters my guy, you never asked. Plus it’s 57* slow your roll. But ok fine, never heard of that before and that’s just what I said. He exploded!!!!!!! Not Bobby, the dude above him. Why you calling my employee a liar! He called you didn’t answer! Insurance charges us for empty tanks rawr!!!! Ok calm down dude I said I never heard of it. Not to mention iPhones save voice mail so I would have seen it but I didn’t mention that. I bring 7/11 empty propane tanks all the time (should have said that it would have been hilarious). Anyway, dude must not have had his fix of whatever this morning cause he was on some other stuff.

I’ve been with economy propane for a year now exactly. For the previous 5 years I was with suburban propane and it was such a headache. During a conversation over lunch a co worker recommended economy to me! I made the switch almost immediately and haven’t been disappointed ONCE! They gave me an appointment, they put in my tank and they did it with a sense of urgency! Whenever I call and need ANYTHING Bobby takes excellent care of me. He listens and then he executes. Their customer service is excellent and they still use real people not automated systems. It feels personal and brings me so much comfort. I’ll never leave them and i recommend them to EVERYONE!!!

After years of a good relationship, this guy “Bob” decides on his own to shut us off after one late payment while we were out of town. No notice, just shut off on a very cold day. No propane for our r cooking range. On a weekend, and he is screaming at us that it’s our fault. Worst customer service ever experienced!

Very Very poor customer service. Doug was very rude during our conversation. Definitely would NOT recommend!!!!I recently had the pleasure in speaking with Doug after he took his propane tanks from my residence with no notice and left no notice after taking them.He was very rude and ignorant during our conversation.I have lived in my mobile home in a 55+ community and moved here approximately 3 years ago. I have never used propane before and only use it for cooking.I went to cook one night and my burners did not ignite went to check my propane level and my tanks were gone!As I said I live in a 55+ community and as far as Mr. Doug knew i could have been elderly with no family to assist me and no means of cooking a meal for myself with out propane.My gauge read 20-22 last time I checked which was only a couple days before the tanks were taken.After sharing with many people my experience with friendly Mr. Doug many said I should report to the better business Bureau which I am seriously thinking about doing.
