Scummy tactics, that's my opinion. Here's the scam- the sales department will find ways to insult you and your trade so much that ya just want to take your business elsewhere. Minor accident on the Carfax report of your trade? They call it a "DIRTY CARFAX" and use it as a reason to slash the value of your trade. DOESN'T MATTER if your trade has 6000 miles and perfect shape. Just a really dishonest approach of doing car business, IMHO.

I recently went to Shaffer Ford to get my phone connected to my car. Johnathan Leyh assisted me and he was so patient with me and so understanding. I am an older guy and he was of great help. I know who will sell me my next car. Great guy and great service.

Shaffer Ford's service went above and beyond for me last week. I was traveling through MD and my truck broke down Sunday night and had it towed to Shaffer Ford that night. I went there first thing Monday morning and they were able to let me know what was wrong, had the part overnighted and me back on the road the next day, that I only lost a day of my vacation. Their service team was very understanding and helpful, as they fit me into their busy schedule. Thank you very much!

Nick Whittington and I just purchased a 2020 Jeep Compass from Jonathan Leyh. If you want a dealership that cares more about the customer than the sale this is the place to go. We had a wonderful experience.

Worst mechanics ever, took in for transmission work, it now runs worse the when I took it in. Now they say that they have no record of my visit, they know who I am. Never do business with this company again.

I moved back to Cumberland last January 2022 & have visited this Ford location several times. I wasn’t familiar w/all of the extra warranties & services available to me until the AMAZING Jennifer Wilson explained them to me, thoroughly too! She has saved me TONS of expenses & I would like to thank her for her impeccable customer service, as well as giving my Frenchie extra cuddles & attention. Jennifer’s knowledge of Ford’s opportunities available to customers is too notch! She won’t accept a gift from me, so I hope my review will gain attention from Ford so they can give her the recognition she deserves. Thank you Ford & Jennifer Wilson! I appreciate all you do for me!

Well let's see, Things they stated they did but didn't. They didn't rotate the tires, didn't gauge the tires, didn't check the brakes, didn't check the windshield washer fluid, didn't reset the spare tire repair kit warning message, didn't check the spare tire, didn't return my remaining oil, I use my own 5 quart oil car takes 4 1/2 gts, They said that this time it took all 5 qts? ..I get a better feeling that they changed my oil and used my oil when I get that container back. didn't do anything about all this even though I had proof of all these things not being done. Front right tire and wheel was put on less then 100 miles before this service, it was still on the same axle, so not rotated, if they didn't take the tires off they didn't check the brakes. I added 3 qts washer fluid when I got home.
