In general, I enthusiastically endorse paying a professional to do your taxes for you. If time is money, and if avoiding stress and having chores hanging over your head has value, it's absolutely worth the small fee based on that alone. In my case, it's been beyond worthwhile because, each year since I started using them, Allegany Business Consulting Inc. has saved me money I'm certain I'd have left on the table. Quite a lot, I think. And, when I was married, they absolutely saved my wife a great deal. The last year we were together, they turned what would've been a loss into a windfall just by knowing about options we were completely unaware of. I can highly recommend Allegany Business Consulting, specifically, for their speed, knowledge of current State and Federal tax law, customer service, and their attention to detail. I've used them for the past few years and intend to from now, on. I'm awfully glad I was introduced to them.

We go to Allegany Business Consulting for our tax preparation, this is our 3rd year, and we are SO glad we do! They are fast, knowledgeable, and courteous. Most importantly, they have been able to maximize our returns in ways we would have likely never figured out. We have been served by 2 of their accountants and met them all and they are worth every penny, folks! We can't recommend them enough.
