“As a former teacher, I take the education of my children very seriously. Goddard of Edgewater is hands down the best place for my children. The staff loves the kids like their own and go above and beyond to teach kindness and compassion. My girls have loved every teacher they've had in the last 4 years. Ms Calissa and Ms Nicky are very helpful in the front office and Mr Dave is always available and willing to listen. We love Goddard!”

“We have had the best experience here with The Primeron! We moved up from Jacksonville, FL to Fort Meade army base, and daycare costs and availability were shocking when we first came up here! So I did a bit of searching, and the Primeron ended up being our best choice! It was very close to the front gate of Ft. Meade and the tuition rates were better than many other daycares I toured in the area. But not only that, the teachers there are amazing! My 3 year old daughter (who just turned 4 recently) was learning so much! She came home one day talking about less that, greater than, and equal to. She even knows what commutative property is! I am impressed! Child care is very expensive in this area and in the economy today, but you definitely get what you pay for here. The sign in/sign out process is very easy and convenient. The teachers update you on an app with how your kid’s day is going and what they are learning at the time. I feel like my daughter is very safe there with the in center cameras and guarded entrance in place. I highly recommend The Primeron to anyone looking for care, especially for those who might be moving in the area from out of state/town.”

“There’s something about the piece of mind, knowing your child is not only being looked after, but taught and cared for. We dropped our first born off at only 6 weeks and quickly felt at ease with Ms Evelyn taking our boy. Over the 1.5 years there, she helped him navigate early learning and how to deal with the emotions and anxiety of watching his parents leave. He absolutely loved going to see her in the mornings. As he progressed, Ms Evelyn, Ms Terri, Ms Jaala helped drive his learning, walking, and talking… Everything we couldn’t while working long days. Ms Courtney and Ms Phylicia were very helpful with navigating the first year of parenthood. We will be forever grateful for the time spent there. Thank you to all of the staff not mentioned, your efforts are appreciated.”
“This Early Learning Center receives high marks based on two reasons: 1) Ms. Julie and the teachers for 2 y o class are exceptional, caring and knowledgeable. This is most important when a child can be entrusted to someone else while you are working or going to school.2) Ms. Diane’s ability to handle situations and concerns of parents sets her apart from other directors. She is always welcoming and pleasant. I don’t think her assistants are as thorough or helpful as she is at times, but Ms. Diane makes up for that. I would remind them to always stay in step with how things at all times.”

“Ever since we started with Goddard in 2021, they have been amazing with our child's growth and education. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The teachers are wonderful with the kids, the owner is very involved and loves chatting with parents. The school has a parents association that helps plan events and encourages parents to get more involved. The apps the school uses helps me stay connected with the teachers because drop off and pick up can be hectic some days, so if I don't remember to tell the teacher something I can just leave it in a message for them. I also get super cute pictures of my child doing school work or playing with friends. It's really nice to feel involved when I can't actually be there in person. The price is worth the great experience they proved to us.”

Some of the behavioral issues my son had at a previous daycare went away as soon as he was transferred to Guidepost. I'd like to think it's because he's in a more nurturing environment. I have noticed positive development and milestones within my baby since she has been in their care.Overall the staff is awesome and I have no worries when I leave my baby in their care.”

“Bright Beginning in Crownsville is the most amazing preschool in the area. We truly struck a pot of gold being able to send both of our children there from ages 2-5. The staff turnover rate is very low- that alone speaks volumes. They genuinely love the children, and leaving them to be the ones caring for my kids while I’m at work was never difficult. They are so communicative to families and post daily photos for parents to see throughout the day. They go out of their way to plan fun activities for the children. I recommend BBCLC 20 out of 10 to anyone in the area looking for preschool-aged childcare. ❤️”
