This was my first visit at Illuminate. I have had some bad experiences at other salons and was stressed about going to a new salon.
Once I arrived everyone was so welcoming, that helped ease my stress.
I booked with Alexis, she was absolutely amazing! She did a wonderful job on my hair and made me feel so comfortable. She is very friendly. I have definitely found my new salon!

I had an awesome first experience at Illuminate Salon. Alexis did an amazing job highlighting my hair, I messed my hair up with boxed hair dye and ended up orange instead of blonde. Alexis was such a great listener and did a great job highlighting my hair. I have found my hair person!

I had a really terrific first time experience here. Jess did such a great job with my blonde highlights. It looks so natural and she listened and knew exactly what I wanted. In addition she was very friendly and great to talk to. I will definitely be back.Services: Hair highlighting

UPDATE:After I made this review, Jess was kind enough to respond to me over email and apologize for the negative experience. She also refunded the cost of my haircut, including the tip. This took great integrity, so I am adding a star! I appreciate that Illuminate is reading these reviews and cares about customer satisfaction.I saw Jess Sarno for a haircut for the first time on Friday and will not be returning to Illuminate after my experience. After exchanging hello's, Jess' first words to me were, "Do you just want a trim?" rather than asking me why I had come in/what kind of haircut I wanted. In fact, I wanted MORE done than just a trim, but immediately felt awkward explaining that. I then showed her several example photos of the haircut I wanted and explained in detail. I wanted to trim off half an inch of length and add tapered curtain bangs. For the remainder of the appointment, it seemed like Jess wanted me out of there as soon as possible. I've NEVER received a faster haircut---and if the results had been what I asked for, I would have been fine with the speed, but they are so far off the photos I showed her it's almost comedic (if I hadn't spent $72). I don't have curtain bangs---I have awkward chunks of hair on either side of my head, one of which is cut significantly shorter than the other---while still too long to be considered "bangs" of any kind. In addition, she made no effort to make conversation with me the entire time, an experience I've never had with any hairstylist. Very disappointed.Service: Haircut

I've been here a few times to get my hair cut and it was a good experience and the owner who cut my hair was very polite, friendly, and courteous. Nice place to get a good looking haircut along with her staff of other female hairstylists

I've been here a few times to get my hair cut and it was a good experience and the owner who cut my hair was very polite, friendly, and courteous. Nice place to get a good looking haircut along with her staff of other female hairstylists

What a great discovery so close to home! Jess gives me a great cut each visit despite my challenging hair situation. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Scheduling is easy with an app or by phone. The shop is cute, clean, and airy, and there is plenty of parking. Love it!

So glad I found Illuminate! Jess gave me what may be the best cut I've ever had and some great suggestions on how to create some variety. She made me feel comfortable right away, and her salon is stylish, bright, and clean. There is ample parking and a superb coffee shop right next door. So convenient. I heartily recommend Illuminate!

I booked an appointment the day of to have my hair styled for a wedding I was attending. I brought in my grandmother’s vintage 1950’s hat and asked them to style my hair with the hat. Jessica and the whole salon rose to the occasion and did a BEAUTIFUL job styling my hair. I got compliments all night!Service: Hairstyling
