If I could give this CVS zero stars, I would. By accident, my provider sent a presciption to theCVS on Davidsonville Road in Crofton. When I received the text that the rx was received, it also came along with a message stating that the medication needed to be ordered and there was no indication of when it would be in. It was an antibiotic for my child that needed to be started immediately, so I called another pharmacy to initiate the transfer of this prescription so it could be filled immediately. The secondary pharmacy called 3 times. There is no way to get through to speak to someone in the pharmacy anymore, only the option to leave a voicemail, which is clearly NOT checked. The secondary pharmacy called multiple times and left multiple messages to initiate the transfer of the medication. After several hours, and our own inability to get through to speak to someone directly, my husband then called the CVS store main number and was connected with an associate at the register who was able to transfer us to a human in the pharmacy who was insisting there was no request for said transfer. 15 min before the other pharmacy was closing on a Friday afternoon, I dropped my husband off IN PERSON to CVS to get this transfer to take place, while I went IN PERSON to the other pharmacy. Upon getting inside, my husband was told again there were no messages from the other pharmacy and while I'm in person, am being SHOWN that there were multiple calls/messages left. The pharmacist at the new pharmacy was somehow able to get through at the last minute after my husband initiated the contact and get the transfer to occur, however this wouldn't have happened if my husband wasn't there IN PERSON to ensure it was done. Every single solitary interaction we have had with this specific CVS is always - and this is not an exaggeration - always similar. There is no communication. Everyone is blaming everyone else. The staff is rude, very inconsiderate and inept. I completely understand being understaffed, however there is absolutely no excuse for how this pharmacy is consistently operating at abysmal and subpar standards in ANY industry, let alone healthcare. You should be mortified to even be operating at this point. If my provider had not made a mistake and sent the rx to this pharmacy, NONE of this would have happened. This CVS should not even be able to operate a pharmacy on the premises. If you have ANY choice whatsoever to utilize any other pharmacy, I would do so because it will be so worth it in the end.

A joke! They get a script from the children’s Hospital in Washington DC last night and the following day, they tell me they don’t have it filled and it will be hours! No, not okay. Not when it’s pain medication coming from the orthopedic surgeon ER department. This is by far one of the worst pharmacies.

Absolutely terrible experience at CVS Pharmacy! While the non-pharmacist staff are great and genuinely helpful, it’s a shame they have to bear the brunt of the pharmacist’s unprofessional and unqualified behavior. they couldn’t care less about assisting customers with anything. Good luck getting someone to pick up the phone; it’s like they’ve vanished into thin air. This establishment is a complete disaster and should shut down immediately. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere!

Would give a zero if I could. Stores need to start working with these young and immature employees. Went in yesterday at 1 to get some Zrytec. Pharmacy was closing for lunch. Ask could I just quickly get a Zyrtec or I would have to go elsewhere. Tech let the window keep closing and says “BYE”! So you dismiss a paying customer. To make it worse, I asked for a manager to address the attitude and the 3 techs come up front and think it is funny that someone is complaining. So now I need to contact corporate. I worked for CVS in high school when employees were there to do a job and not be cute with people.

The Minute Clinic is absolutely ridiculous. Outrageous wait times and the health provider doing the vaccines is so rude and nasty. She’s black with dreadlocks. Her tone is unbelievable.

Pharmacy is RIDICULOUSLY slow. Takes forever for them to fill your prescription and staff is very slow at pickup, whether you utilize the drive thru or go inside. Also, they almost never send a text when your Rx is ready, even though staff claims they will.

Automated answering system for the pharmacy is terrible. Couldn't even direct me to a person and ended up having to leave a voicemail.

Been my pharmacy for over a year. Sometimes all goes smooth, other times not do much. Some of the pharmacists care others have an attitude. Complaints to CVS never get a response. If my insurance wasn’t thru CVS I would be elsewhere.

Regrettably, my recent visit to the CVS Pharmacy in Crofton MD left much to be desired. From start to finish, the entire experience was marred by various issues and shortcomings that made it a less than satisfactory trip. One of the most glaring issues was the lack of attentiveness and competence displayed by the staff. The customer service left a lot to be desired, as it appeared that the employees were disinterested and unhelpful. Finding someone available to answer questions or provide assistance proved to be a challenge, leaving me feeling frustrated and unimportant as a customer. In addition to the lackluster service, there were numerous issues with the availability of important items. The pharmacy area seemed poorly stocked, with prescriptions taking longer than expected to be filled. And when it came to over-the-counter medications and health products, the shelves were frequently empty or disorganized, making it difficult to find what I needed. Another concerning aspect of my experience was the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. The shelves and aisles were unkempt, and it was evident that proper attention was not given to maintaining a neat and tidy environment. This lack of cleanliness created a less-than-ideal shopping atmosphere and further added to the overall disappointment. Furthermore, the checkout process was unnecessarily cumbersome and inefficient. Long wait times and unhelpful cashiers compounded the frustration I experienced during my visit. Considering the multitude of issues encountered during my visit to this CVS Pharmacy, I would not recommend it as a reliable option. The subpar customer service, lack of stocked items, poor organization, and overall disarray left a lasting negative impression. If you are in need of pharmacy services or everyday necessities, I would advise exploring other options in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a more pleasant and efficient experience.

I went in for a simple passport photo that I needed ASAP for a visa. Taylor helped me and turned an experience I was dreading into one that was simple and easy. She took my photo and helped me upload it into the system; then helped me print it out and cut the 2x2 picture out for me. It took me less than 10 minutes despite google claiming it was during their "busy hours." There seem to be lots of negative reviews regarding the pharmacy but the front of house, customer service staff, really made the experience simple and enjoyable. I am grateful for the help and definitely plan on returning for any store side needs I may have.
