I went to Visionworks for the first time. I used Medicaid and I felt treated like a “Medicaid” patient. I was told I could only pick out frames from the bottom rows and I was given a bin from which I could also select frames. All of my choices were low grade. In that moment, I felt lesser of a person. All my life, I paid out of pocket for glasses and was always treated well. At Visionworks, I felt like a poor person due to the way this place treated me. They whispered when they spoke to me and I wondered why. I am not ashamed of being on Medicaid. I have no choice right now. Also, the eye exam lasted five minutes, the doctor didn’t really listen to my complaints and I felt rushed in and out. Sorry that I wasted your time Visionworks. When I am able to afford glasses out of pocket again, I won’t be back to your stores. But do note, there was a very lovely lady who works there. I think she was the Manager. She is the only reason I didn’t walk out of the place.

I am utterly dismayed by the appalling customer service I received from Charmaine's employees at Visionworks. My interaction with one of the young ladies was nothing short of a nightmare. It all began when she rudely snatched the phone from a gentleman I was initially speaking with, only to bark, "Can I help you?" Shocked by her abruptness, I politely asked for her name, hoping to address her properly. Instead of a simple introduction, she abruptly hung up on me! After persistently calling back, hoping to resolve my issue with my new prescription glasses, she finally picked up again, but her attitude was downright horrendous. It's my first time needing prescription eyewear, and I trusted Visionworks for their expertise, yet I've been met with unprofessionalism and disrespect. This treatment is not only uncalled for but also completely unacceptable. I am left feeling deeply dissatisfied and disheartened by this experience. The fact that my call was recorded gives me hope that management will take swift action to address this behavior. I implore them to listen to the recording and witness firsthand the unprofessional conduct I endured. As a paying customer, I deserve respect and proper customer service, neither of which I received during this distressing encounter. Visionworks has failed me, and I regret ever choosing them for my optical needs.

Welk I all ways enjoy going here even to fix my glasses I bought somewhere else. This time they help me with a new pair and they went above and beyond the call.

I was greeted at the door and was very nice and welcoming. I picked the few glasses and the young women Rowadna help me decided and I was happy and can't wait to get it done and insure I hope you recieve it when I am here she as said. Very nice person. Will recommend all my friends to come get eye exam and glasses here. Can't beat the prices and outstanding service.

Dissapointed to say the least. I called the store to inquire about a service and was told that they could help out with no problems. However, when I got to the store, the story changed and I was turned away with no resolution. I guess it's time to find a new vision care location.

My last visit was the Friday of Easter… had I known the staff were going to act like they had better things to do - I would’ve waited. The greeting was awkward as they were finishing up a convo about hair after calling me up there. Felt like I walked into a party I wasn’t invited to. The guy performing the exam seemed new and uncomfortable- also kept being interrupted/rushed (it seems). We get to the end of my exam and they never had me remove my contacts… I just thought the procedure was being done differently but I should’ve spoken up.

I had scheduled an appointment and even received an email 3 hrs prior to my appointment saying that they are looking forward to seeing me today. However, 15 min past my appointment start time I was informed that the appointment had been cancelled because they "weren't able to confirm it so the system automatically canceled it."
They said that they did not have a record of my eye exam last year and insisted that I was last seen in 2022, even though I had the piece of paper with the date of my last exam from 2023. They then discovered that they have 2 accounts for me with different birthdays for each one.
So, I asked if they could just send the needed information to the DMV for my license renewal, and they said they don't have a Dr. on staff right now who can do that.
Of course, no apology for the inconvenience or attempts to make amends. Zero stars, wouldn't not recommend.

This was my first time here and while the experience wasn't necessarily bad, it leaves room for some suggestions. There was a mix up on my behalf with my insurance policy and so it took a few extra minutes for my daughter and I to get checked in. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful though and called to verify for me, but maybe having that be part of the scheduling experience would alleviate the issue instead of sending me 10 emails confirming an appointment that I already confirmed several times. Next, I booked my appointment and my daughters back to back. After I went through the testing process they came and got me while I was helping my daughter go through the testing process because she didn't necessarily understand the instructions. They told me the person was ready to see me, but I declined not wanting to leave my 7 year old daughter with strangers. Next time I will definitely book times farther apart, but I thought it was very odd they would ask me to do that being that she was with a male tech. The staff was very nice, but it just rubbed me the wrong way. After that the process was easy, the drs work remote and the waiting period in between drs wasn't very long. They had a good selection of glasses as well.
