One star is being rather generous. I have had the opportunity of living here for 2 years. I can honestly say there are better places to spend your money for a place to stay. As a potential resident it is in your best interest to stay far away from this complex. As a current resident I have brought multiple issues to the leasing staff and management team’s attention with no resolution. To make matters worse if you are still not happy with the property manager Ms. Toni Green, they are also the regional manager. Spoiler alert the property manager and the regional manager are the same person who don’t address issues. Then there’s her boss Mr Christopher Houlding who is supposed to be next in line with in the chain of command and who I never got a phone call back from. I guess my money isn’t worth addressing my points of contention. So i think we can say my money isn’t worth another year at your property Mr. Houlding. No, I not interesting in a conversation, when I wanted to discuss the issue you were “unavailable”.

Since we moved to this place in 2019 we have felt peace, the place is well located and with lots of greenery, Mr. Springs is very polite and will always solve your problems, the manager Tony is also a wonderful person, the apartment and well ventilated, and the community is good, we just feel that there should be more spaces to put the cars!

We had the three bedroom two bath. Love the space lots of windows and lights. Great place I loved being closed the convenience, close to the grocery totes, Columbia Mall, walking Path, pool , schools. The staff was great, Maintenance was done and well kept facilites. The complex was kept nice and clean. I will go back to leave there if I needed, best price and for great space in Columbia.

No security. Bad crime area for theft and harassment. I had my car broken into, and nothing could be done. The units do not have adequate a/c or heating. Maintenance and management are not on the same page and many times maintenance will mark a ticket as completed, but in fact they never arrived to fix the issue.I was repeatedly harassed by a tenant for merely cooking, laughing, and moving in during reasonable hours. Again, the office refused to do anything.Parking is not enforced, so you will lose your spot to random people who don't even live there.

I recently renewed my lease with the Verona and I love it here! My experience with staff has been great! I love my apartment. Staffing has always been very helpful through whatever issues or concerns I have had and the maintenance guys are great as well and always respond in a timely fashion.Update: I have been living at Verona for 4 years now. I have enjoyed my time and staffing has always been great in addressing my needs. Maintenance continues to respond in a timely fashion and the office staff are always so friendly.

Would give negative stars if I could.
We lived in an 88 degree, humid apartment throughout June and July because they couldn't get their act together to replace one broken part in the AC unit. I reported the problem on June 6th VIA THEIR SERVICE PORTAL and it took them a few hours on July 27th to fix it.
They are lazy, there's a lack of communication between maintenance and the office, and they repeatedly turned a blind eye to our requests for help, claiming they had no way to find out who was calling. (They take your name and number when you sign the lease.)
Worst than the gaslighting though, was that there was no sympathy whatsoever for the conditions we were living in. Negligence is one thing, but they do not care about people on a human level.
Stay far, far away.

Honest advice after 2 year tenancy. Maintenance staff is friendly and effective at what they're responsbile for. Admin staff inside the office is unfriendly and impersonal.
Please beware of the "surety bond" within the contract you sign. They refer to it as a deposit verbally, but a surety bond is non-refundable. It is also $1000 (non-refundable fee) to transfer to bigger or smaller floorplan even if lease is re-newed.
My #1 issue - If your property lacks ammenities, lacks a safe enviroment where drug transactions and domestic/gang violence often occure, the least you could do is employ an office staff who smiles, actually picks up the phone, and seems happy to have a job these days..

We've been living in Verona for almost 2 years. The rent here is the most affordable in the whole Columbia area (we visited many different places before Verona). Close to Columbia Mall, Whole Foods, parks and hospital... Last year, we got a minor issue with the built in washer, they came to fix it in just around 15 mins the next morning. My husband lost the check paying for that month, they not only didn't charge the late payment fee but also reimbursed the fee to void that check! Safe and well maintenanced neighborhood (ample parking space, fast snow removal...). The management team is very understanding, nice and friendly (especially Venesa and Toni) . Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and nice place with very affordable rent.
