10% off for being a Columbia resident and you get a free hour if you check in! Chairs, table, microphones...all of that is provided! This is very spacious and convenient! There's even a kitchen area nearby the rooms to keep things running smoothly if you plan to have food at your event. Highly recommend this event venue, we loved it!

I will never again use this venue for anything. First off we were told to come to the place 2 weeks before the party for the lay out of the tables and chairs. That were supposed to be set up before we got there. We got to the place 6pm. Couldn't get in and they had nothing set up. Some lady pulls up 6:30 talking about it will take her 30 mins to set up stuff that was supposed to be set up already. Then I was told we had until 12am to clean up. Around 10:30 we were told to wrap up the party. Mind you the contract was from 6 to 11, but she wanted us to cut our time short. Basically it was $900 for 2 hours! So I just recieved my partial deposit citing that we went over until 11:30 (cleaning up) so they took $105. WE paid for 5 hours 6 to 11. Couldn't get into the building until 7 and had to leave during the time WE paid for. Please ask questions and read the fine print... Lack of everything!!!!!! Like I said never again!

Nice sized hall for a mid-size event. We hosted a fundraiser dance here and the amenities are quite nice.

This is a wonderful facility! I come here for board meetings but the team that works here is also incredibly knowledgeable about the community and Columbia. Just pop in and talk to some of the staff and ask any questions that you want!

I went to the Hawthorn Center today to reserve space for a bridal shower. Bill was very friendly and helpful as were the other staff members. Make sure if you are heading over to book a space, to take your ID. This is a nice cozy meeting and event space that has kitchen facilities and nice new bathrooms. They even have a built in wall projector you may rent for an minimal additional cost and a plug for your blue tooth device so you can project music or whatever you need onto a loud speaker. Tables and chairs are available and the staff will set up your desire floor plan!!
