Walked in, no one was in the store and wasn’t acknowledged by the clerk at all, he just remained on the phone. Sad it was my first time and you Would think that for a local small business they would be more friendly and inviting. Will skip this store and drive a few more minutes to go to a bigger store

Literally the worst. I came here three times and the employees were short, unhelpful and condasending. Go to a 7/11 or somewhere that has friendly staff and maybe has had a good cleaning since the sixties.

I've lived in this neighborhood for almost a decade, and Sam's has consistently been my go-to for a quick stop on the way to work or on the way home. These guys are awesome- there's a blizzard and everything else is closed? No worries, these guys will have their lot plowed, their sidewalk shoveled, and fresh coffee on. They're in a perfect location, just a short stroll from any of the apartment or townhouse complexes, and not only do they know their regulars, they're compassionate and trusting enough that when I forgot my wallet the other day, they insisted that I go ahead and take my purchases and just stop back in whenever I had a chance to settle up. There are occasionally teenagers hanging out outside, but not nearly as many or as often as a few years ago, and I've never had an issue with them or been bothered by them in any way, and the store has a policy for how many students can be in the store at a time, so often I think they're just waiting for friends who are shopping. The prices are consistent with other convenience stores, so while you can definitely get things cheaper other places, you're not paying any more here than you would at 7-11 or Royal Farms, and they have a way more interesting selection. You might not find every single flavor of potato chips ever created, but you might stumble across lime flavored wafer cookies and decide they're your new favorite snack.

I remember this place was the go-to for potato wedges and cans of soda back when I was in high school. I still love the wedges! However, whenever I go now, there are always kids/teens lurking around the side of the building. I'm always alert because I've had a few walk up and ask me for money or if I have a lighter as soon as I step out of my car.

Their food is super old horrible horrible. I call to complain about their food (chicken wings) and ask him to make sure they don't serve that to someone else, the guys said he didn't know what to say or do ! Like what you mean ? Not the first time their food is old

The store is a local place Its not meant to have 5 star service, I go there occasionally for snacks and soda, Its supposed to be a crappy store, its stuck in the middle of low income apartments and people loiter there all the time.

I'm calling the health department on them they have rats that eat through the chip bags and this store was great when the Spanish owned it now some creeps own it its horibble I hate them !!!!!

the men that work here are very creepy and stared at me the whole time im always uncomfortable when i walk in i hate it and theres like 10 of them in there at a time and crowd you very rudely and just stare and you i always feel like im about to get kiddnapped and raped
