Both my daughter and I have used Dr. Tang services for years. He has always been an “A” class doctor. A superb surgeon, crystal clear in explaining clinical results to a patient as a non-clinician, and just a compassionate person. It’s clear that he cares about his patients.

My Physical Therapist knows what needs to be done to get me back to normal. She is concerned about my health especially when I do things contrary to what my orthopedic doctor says. Center for Advanced Orthopedics have excellent caretakers. I would recommend them to anyone.

The doctor is wonderful. Waiting an hour and forty minutes after your appointment time to actually see her is ridiculous. Second time the wait time for the doctor was so long. Our time is also valuable.

At 71 years of age, I had my first surgery - a total hip replacement - I was terrified, so unsure what kind of outcome could be expected at my age. My surgeon, Dr. Mess was wonderful - very supportive, thoughtful, calm. His surgical coordinator, Claire, was so helpful, always there to answer any questions or concerns quickly and thoroughly. They kept me sane and safe through this procedure, and Dr. Mess’s skills have given me a new lease on life. My physical therapist, Bonnie, developed an individual plan to help me regain strength, energy, and the range of motion I needed to get back to the sports I enjoy most - walking - and horse back riding! Thanks to the whole team for getting me back in the saddle again!!

I came here for a physical therapy appointment. As I was waiting to get started on my warm up, I noticed one of the aides (the black girl with bantu knots) on one of the machines on her phone not doing anything and in turn not being very attentive to my needs. We did eventually get through my exercises. However as I was hooked up to the stimulation unit, I noticed the same aide was sitting at the front desk with her head down not seeming to be doing any work while her coworkers appeared very busy and slightly overwhelmed. This to me was very unprofessional and kind of soured my experience at the clinic, which is a shame because it seems like a good establishment.

Very welcoming and professional staff. Dr Gelb was very relaxed and easy going but knowledgeable. My only concern was that the staff that called me back to the exam room did not introduce themselves nor explain why there were two of them. Obviously one was being trained. Other than that my experience was positive.

Dr Tang is the best hip replacement surgeon in the DC metro area. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or outcome to my hip replacement surgery. I'm better than I was prior to surgery, though it's only been 3 months, and am increasing in strength and endurance daily. Dr tang gave me my life back. I would go to him for any orthopedic necessity without hesitation

My medical visit with Dr. Mathur was very inlighting. He addressed my concerns with deep knowledge and thorough investigation before treatment. Upon my arrival the staff was pleasant and kind. The group of doctors that make up the practice are some of the best doctors in their field. I highly recommend the center for Advanced Orthopaedics.

Staff was helpful and attentive. Doctor was energetic and sensitive to my child’s needs. She took time to relate to him and to explain his injuries in ways he would understand. She gave him choices and even had him laughing a few times. He’s 13 so that’s big! I would highly recommend her.

From initial appointment with Dr. Mathur, to follow up appointment after neck surgery, I encountered a professional and caring staff. Dr. Mathur was thorough and responsive and is highly recommended.

After waiting for one hour for my appointment, I spoke to the receptionist. She had not put my file in the folder that the doctor used to see people. She told me that I was next. After waiting for 20 more minutes, I spoke to the receptionist again and explained that I had a business commitment and needed to reschedule because I couldn’t wait any longer. She told me that I would be charged a fee for not keeping my appointment. Unbelievable.

I can’t say enough about the office, staff & Dr. Daniel Tang. My 61 yr old brother is mentally handicapped & blind with necrosis of both hips/unknown reason. His group home is ALWAYS LATE & I had to travel 23 minutes down to pick him up & get him back to Columbia. Dr. Tang’s office saw him anyway. My scoliosis doctor has been in this practice for years. THANK YOU IS NOT ENOUGH! ???
