Hosted a birthday for our 3 year old, and also attended a party for a little friend. Both were amazing! The teachers created a great mix of free play and activities for the kids tailored to the birthday kid’s interests. As the parents it was so nice for us to be able to relax, enjoy watching the kids have fun, and socialize with other parents. The teachers also cut and served the cake. Andy and Keilana were so great with the kids. Highly recommend for birthday parties! They also offer free trial classes sometimes if you want to get an idea of what their parties are like or want to consider signing up for their weekly classes.

Heads Up to Fellow Parents About This PlaceSo, here's the deal. I wanted to do something nice for my kids. Found this place that offered a 30-day class that sounded perfect. But here's where things went south – the place has this sneaky way of making you pay more than you thought you would. Why I'm Not Cool With It:Sneaky Renewals: Signed up for what I thought was a one-time thing, but bam, it renews on its own. There's this tiny part in the contract about auto-renewal that nobody really points out. Honestly, who has the time to read every word? The Cancellation Game: You have to cancel the thing right after you sign up if you don't want to get automatically renewed. Feels like you're signing up just to cancel. It's a weird loop that doesn't sit right, especially for a place that's supposed to be fun for kids.Yeah, I Should've Read the Fine Print:I get it. It's on me to read the contract thoroughly. But c'mon, this feels like a trap for busy parents. It's like they're betting on us not noticing.Stuck With Something We Don't Want Anymore:Ever bought something and then realized it's not for you? Usually, you can return it. But with this class, no such luck. My kids are over it, and we're still paying. So, What's the Takeaway?Just wanted to give you all a heads up. I wish businesses, especially ones for kids, were more upfront about this stuff. It's one thing to have policies; it's another to make them feel like gotchas.I hope this helps someone avoid the hassle we went through. Always ask about the cancellation policy, and maybe we can push for clearer communication from places like this. Let's look out for each other!

We had our daughter's 3rd birthday party at MyGym Columbia and it was awesome! She and all her guests had a great time. We did the Premier Package and we got so many compliments that her MyGym party was the best birthday party they've ever been to! We loved that it was a private party and we had the entire facility. MyGym incorporated all her favorite songs in the playlist, including adding, "The More We Get Together" to the activities - our daughter was singing it as she went to bed And the staff? Amazing! Ms. Leah and Ms. Star were great! *And* MyGym did all the set up and clean up. *And And* we get a free class. Worth every single penny - you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing experience! ?? I've never heard of this place before today (went for a birthday party). The activities and staff interactions were top-tier. Will definitely be back with my child just to experience the facilities again.

We held our girls’ birthday party here. I can’t say enough good things about how fantastic the My Gym Columbia crew was! From setting up the party room to entertaining our little guests to wrap up - everything was impeccable. I was impressed by how two ladies make it run so smoothly. The gym floor was versatile - they would have punching bags appear, then later - gym balls, then all of a sudden a bouncy castle come up, swings appear, bubbles filling up the gym floor - it kept our guests entertained and busy! Not to mention how well they focused on the birthday girls. My favorite was their puppet show and a zip line for each guest at the end.It was really helpful when they also did the food service and cake cutting for us. I actually got to enjoy this birthday party!Just to compare, last year we booked Rolly Pollies in Severna Park and it was night and day different. There wasn’t any kind of assistance there last year other than some candle lighting and cake cutting. I felt like I was doing everything by myself so didn’t actually get to socialize or see my girls’ party at all. Not to mention the lack of music which I thought was bizarre considering it’s a birthday party. Totally different experience at the My Gym Columbia. And just look at the crew - they look happy, smiling and not like they are forced to run someone’s party. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!Highly recommend! I think one of the party specialists was named Sharon - not sure about the Second Lady, but both absolutely amazing!

In my opinion this place is wonderful for kids between 2 and 7. There are so many activities here.Teachers are good and informative. My elder daughter attended this center before March 2020 and had a great time.My younger one is currently enrolled. We did not attend the classes for age group 7-14 so cannot comment much. All the activities for 2-7 years old really help kids not only to be socially active but also physical moves.

We had my daughter's 7th birthday party at MyGym Columbia and it was absolute perfection! The ladies were super friendly, and organized. It was like a well oiled machine how well they timed everything and got the kids involved in the activities. My daughter is extremely shy, so I let them know ahead of time and they were great about not making her the center of attention during activities, while also making the day really special for her. They say all you have to do is show up, and they really mean it, they did everything. It was absolutely worth the price tag. Everyone had an excellent time!

We been coming here for the past couple of months and love it. I will say that the first class can be a little overwhelming for the parent because it can seem like A LOT lol but I promise the next class will go smoother. Our little guy looks forward to his class every week and the teachers are wonderful with the little ones.

Every time we've been, either for a holiday themed party or my daughter's birthday party, the place is clean, the staff is super friendly and enthusiastic, and the event is timed impeccably. I wish we lived closer!

We love My Gym in Columbia! My daughter started attending the gym when she was about six months old. She has grown to enjoy every activity, interact with her little friends, and even took her first several steps at my gym. We celebrated her first birthday and my gym and all her little friends enjoyed it too. The instructors are great, knowledgeable, and bubbly. The space is safe, clean, and fun for kids of all ages. Kids from different age groups can they a blast for sure!

I probably won't be going back. I was very disappointed in this experience for my boys. They exaggerated the level of help I would have with my twins. As one parent sitting down in a class with two children in my lap, I was unable to guide them both through the warmup exercises. They told us on the phone that there would be a teacher who would help us with that. The "help" was to put one of my boys back near me if he wandered off, and then she'd walk away so we could repeat this cycle. She sat down with him for one exercise, so about 30 seconds. The "class" was about 8 minutes of some warmup movements in a group circle, and then free play for most of the next hour. I could have taken them to a playground and had the same experience without the aggravation of having them try to follow the instructions being shouted over the sound system. The music was blasting too loudly and I couldn't hear what the teacher was saying most of the time. So after a few minutes I gave up and let the twins just play as they wanted on the gym equipment. Turns out that was what most of the class time was anyway. After another couple minutes in circle time the rest of the kids were doing free play on the gym equipment. Not much of a class, really. The teachers hung some equipment from the overhead supports and laid out a climbing course, but there was no real guidance through it or instruction. The room itself is not totally safe. And I'm not talking about the play equipment. There are unlocked, unlockable doors that lead to a party room, an office, and a supply room, which have toddler-friendly handles in reach of toddlers. I had to redirect them from each of these doors at least once. After a time of free-play, the teachers had everyone sit on one side of the room and they did something with the play equipment and then the class was over.I'm not going to say my boys didn't have fun. They liked exploring the room and the play equipment, I don't feel like they took part in a gymnastics class in any way. I don't feel like a service was provided at all. I felt like they were at a pretty small indoor playground. I don't feel like this is worth a couple hundred a month to keep going, at least not without another person to help.
