I loathe going in here. The staff are unhelpful and never seem to know the answers to questions about small business accounts (like: what are the benefits on my card, how do I add a beneficiary or recipient to funds, etc). I've never had a good experience here and will now drive further to have a different experience at another location.

Phenomenal bank and specifically an amazing branch ran by Phil! I have a business account and a few personal accounts with them. Any time I run into issues, they're quick to resolve them. Great one-on-one service.

I own a business and do not recommend M&T. I have had many issues with them not providing quality service but, I have refrained from reviewing because it has been a very difficult time concerning Covid . But, I called to dispute a charge on my account and they never told me they were going to cancel my business credit card because of it. Needless to say, now I am receiving countless calls from vendors saying they can't run my card for monthly recurring charges because my card says lost or stolen. So, I called the customer service line and they said they can't issue me a new card and I'd have to go into a branch. I called my main branch to set up a time to come in but, they don't have anyone to help me. Called the second branch, the manager isn't available. To any business owner, does this seem reassuring? I now have to temporarily use a personal card to cover bills and make time out of my busy schedule to find a branch to issue me a new card and then contact all my vendors to give the new info. Extremely frustrated with lack of communication, lack of staffing and lack or concern or understanding of business needs.

The banker didn’t do anything I asked for and just tried to sell me things I didn’t want. When I called customer service to update my PIN number they don’t have the technology to do it over the phone or online so I have to get a pin mailed in 5-7days. This bank is very inconvenient for somebody that works 9-5 and can’t go to the bank to update my PIN number or cancel paper statements which the banker was suppose to do when I initially signed up. This is not my main bank account but I don’t know if I even want this at all.

Highly disappointed. Made an appointment to open a secondary business account here with Cecil, arrived 15 minutes early to be told he was not in today. Another banker sat down with me and went through the process and stated that Cecil would reach out to me within two business days. He never called. I called and left two messages for him, was finally told he was at the Columbia mall location for the day, called there and was told he was in a meeting and to send him an email. This went on for a week. After sending the email and not receiving a reply back for three more days I moved on. I would highly recommend Sandy Spring bank! They were at least responsive and quick to get it done. Try harder M&T.

My husband and I went to the M&T Branch on Dobbin Road and had the WORST experience trying to open our business account. So, we drove across town and came to this branch and had the BEST experience. Mr. Anthony Prammawat was so EXTREMELY helpful and very informative. We will continue to conduct our banking services at this branch.

I set up my business account in here. It was so pro and friendly service. I am happy to meet with Chris and Bryan at the branch. I recommend this place. PS: They have a huge selection of the pictures that you can customize on your debit&credit card. So funny and nice.

If you make purchases online or travel frequently you're made to feel like a criminal with the hoops you have to jump through with M&T. Full interrogation to use your card online or in a city they don't want you in. It's done under the guise of protecting you but it feels intrusive. Nothing like having your card declined in a long checkout line or at a restaurant and having to plead your case to the fraud department so you can pay for dinn
