“We booked a distillery tour when we were visiting family in the area. Best decision!! The owner, Brad, personally spent an hour with us on the tour explaining the history and process of distilling their rum. The tour ended with a tasting with a souvenir glass and a coupon for a free cocktail. This was a fantastic experience and I hope we can make it back. Highly recommend!!”

“Great customer service!!! I was looking for a Moscato. I was literally shown several different wines, and the one that was recommended to me was amazing. I appreciated being introduced to new wine. Absolutely Wine & Spirits is a great spot for wine!”

“I’ve been coming here for many years as it is close to the neighborhood. You can park close to the front door and they are very helpful bringing out stuff if your mobility is limited.”

“The new owners have really turned this place into a nice neighborhood beverage store. The new look is better and cleaner. His focus on getting great not good craft beer brands is really appreciated.”

“This is Cool Liquor Store with a nice variety of drinks. A little pricey though. It is located across the street from the mall. Right next door to "The Halal Guys".”

“I don't know much about wine, but the wine that I got here was great for both the recipe I used it in for cooking as well as drinking! The person who was stocking the shelves stopped what he was doing and asked if I needed help and dropped everything to help me find something as well. Will definitely go back here again!”

“Great place to shop. There are a few food spots in the shop. The Corner Bakery is a great spot in this shopping center. Also Hartis Teeter, although very expensive, is very nice. I don't love it bc it's kind of far from where I live but still a nice shopping center.”

“Friendly and speedy employees. The store has a good selection of alcoholic beverages. They do have a small selection of nonalcoholic items such as sodas and chips. Just the basics.”

“The guy behind the counter was immediately helpful and friendly enough. They seem to have a decent selection for such a small shop. If I needed to hate on anything I'd say driving through the parking lot to get to the place is pretty annoying. You can crowd in with the bar people next door or park around the rear of the shop and walk up the path and stairs. Regardless, I'm coming back for more because the prices look pretty decent.”

“A different pharmacy did not have a prescription in stock and could not be bothered to take the effort to move my prescription to another store. The people at Guilford Road readily undertook the effort to make it all well. Why can one branch be so helpful and outgoing while the other be so dismissive and uncaring?”

“Before our guided tour experience at Guinness, we decided to stop by Snowden River Liquors for an alcohol run. The staff were friendly. They have a nice selection of wine, beer, and liquor. We picked up a bottle of white rum and 6-pack of Ace Pineapple Cider. If we are in the area again, we would stop by again. I'd try the following: Sweetland Cellars Wines, Boordy Vineyards Wine, Woodchuck Sangria, Smirnoff Ice Game Day Punch, Smirnoff Pineapple Coconut, Austin Eastcider Cranberry Cider, Angry Orchard Unfiltered, Redd's Original, Strawberry, and Black Cherry Cider, and Bold Rock's White Cranberry Cider.”

“Place is usually stocked. Associates that I have come in contact with are friendly and helpful. Prices are kind of expensive compared to other grocery stores but I go because it is convenient.”

“Columbia is such a weird place if you don't live there. I was looking for breakfast near a job I was early for, and I couldn't see this place on google maps until I was in the Starbucks parking lot. Once I saw that it was near, I skipped Starbucks to patronize this small business. It still was not easy to find and they aren not on the the shopping center sign post. The inside of this place is nothing special, it is old and kind of dingy. I had a jalapeno, bacon and cheddar eggel and and iced coffee, and it was great. The bagel was fresh and spicy, the sandwich was well made though the bacon seemed like it may have been pre-cooked shelf stable bacon. Overall it was good, great from such an unassuming place. The prices on their menu board are out of date, but if you are local I guess you know that. What I was really impressed with, and why I left this review was the iced coffee. MUCH higher quality that I was expecting from a place like this, better even than the Starbucks that shares the shopping center. They make it to order, I believe with an aeropress, and it is well worth it. If you find yourself here and need a bite to eat or breakfast, don't be put off by the appearance, it is a quality bagel/deli joint.”

“One of the best village liquor stores around. They carry just about ALL the local brands and keep a very fresh rotation of whatever's coming from the tap of local breweries. The staff is always in high spirits and pleasant to chat with. They're very knowledgeable and give great recommendations every time. You tell them what you like, and they'll pick a great one for you. Good international selection as well. I discovered my new favorite wine here, and haven't seen it many other places since.”

“I feel as though many of the negative revives are from experiences from the previous owners. I have never had a bad experience since the change over. It's a small liquor store. They are not going to have every type of alcohol you are looking for but I believe they have a good selection for their size. If a place has two types of Mead I'm usually a happy camper.”
