I work front desk and know how things SHOULD be ran. The front desk people do not have the best costumer service. I called to request my own copies of my W2s etc. they denied me the copies they said it was “ THE OFFICE COPIES” and they couldn’t send me my own information. I even asked if l could request it through email so they would have written authorization from me showing that if anything were to happen that would be my responsibility. They still denied me. Shannon l believe is the person who “helped” me. She did not do her best to help me with this situation and sounded irritated throughout the whole call. It is their responsibility to do everything they can for customers and the fact she didn’t even check or pass me to anyone else that could actually help like ( i requested)is definitely NOT great customer service. Would never come back here.

We have been going to H&R block for quite a few years now when our situation made it harder to file our own taxes. Chantee has always been great in helping us, giving us tips and info to help for the next year as well.

Terribly disappointing experience with Chantee, while she may be good in certain circumstances, her handling of my father’s taxes following his death was totally unacceptable. She did not communicate well and after a year of waiting for her to complete his taxes, we have finally moved on to another preparer. We followed all of her instructions and even provided her with POA permission to collect transcripts from the IRS on our behalf. Nothing progressed for over a year after we assigned her the permission to do so.

Do not go here. I tried calling to make an appointment for my state taxes and they hung up on me 4 times. Had to drive there to get my paperwork back so I can try to do them on my own. What a joke of a business.

Horrendous attitude and complete disrespect from Scott Gilmore. His tone and attitude were demeaning to the point I think he maybe a secret racist. I was extremely polite and courteous. He would get annoyed if I asked tax related questions and in the middle of it, he claimed that he has another client to assist when I had an appointment as well which should have been throughly served and addressed he claimed my appointment was only an hour, I wanted to leave but I wanted to get this done as I had made prior appointment.. The lady at the front desk named Angela Hawkins was extremely rude and unhelpful as well when I went there to file a complaint and she was defending this horrendous disrespectful and discriminatory conduct from this guy. Another lady stepped in to assist me, I reluctantly agreed to get help from her as I had other plans but made an prior appointment to get those resolved today. However, this individual who seemed nice was helping me, I asked if I can quickly come back and grab my charger from my car she said sure, upon my return, front desk rude lady claimed I had walked out and advised me she has taken another client. I said that is fine and but the way I was treated there was completely disrespectful and horrendous. They have no courtesy, politeness and they are doing an extreme disservice to the taxpayers.they lack manner and they do not know how to talk to clients. I would never do my business with H&R Block ever again I will follow up with a complaint to corporate and other entities as well.

Please, I beg you do not use this place. You will have so many issues with your tax preparation whatever the Asian lady's name is that does your taxes will look confused and mess everything up and then try to blame it on you then when they give you a refund It'll take months to get if you ever get it at all

Completely dissatisfied with the “service” of this location. First, please note that advertised hours are not accurate. When our emails and phone calls asking about the status of our account went unanswered for over a month, we attempted to go to the office in person at 1:15pm on Saturday, July 23. While the office hours posted on the door say it should be open until 4pm, no one was there.At this point, the “professional” at this location has had access to all our sensitive personal information. Not only are we no closer to completing our taxes, but we have no way to contact the people supposedly overseeing our tax process.

I called 4/12/22 for the first time and was able to get an appt for 12 PM 4/16/22. I know, last minute, but unavoidable. I get there at 11:45 and Brianna (receptionist) says my appt was for 12:30 PM. I know that's wrong, but I sit and wait for 45 mins. I see 4-5 other people walk in after me and are send back within minutes. So at 12:30, my preparer calls another client back and tells me it'll be at least another 30 minutes. So I go and ask Brianna if she can do anything to get me in with a different preparer. She's trying (she's the only one I dealt with who has a clue how to treat the client... and she's a temp!) but I'm still waiting 20 mins later. Now I learn that when you set an appt, you're getting an appt with a specific preparer. Mine was running behind (because she was a rookie and had to constantly stop and ask another preparer questions) and I did not have an option to just see whichever preparer finishes next. The system sucks. I had an appt; I should be seen by whoever was available next. So I waited 75 mins, was finally taken back by this rookie, she screws everything up. I actually had to leave and come back the next day and have Kenneth Williams fix everything. Then I get charged $330 for some very basic tax forms. I reprinted this review because I was back there today because I rec'd a notice from the IRS that my taxes were all wrong. Turns out I'm NOT getting $2731 back. Turns out I actually owe another $71. I made an appt for noon. I got there just as the sole employee got there. The place was sweltering and he didn't know how to turn on the A/C. He couldn't get his computer working. I spent 40 miserable minutes there listening to him talk to his tech support in between him answering the phones and dealing with other customers who walked in. I called another branch and resched'd an appt for Mon. I came here to update my original review and saw that Sara N. had responded, asking me to call a number so she could "make it right." I t's another lie. A guy answered and asked if I was calling for an appt. I explained why I was calling and he never heard of Sara N. I thanked him, told him he should run and not turn back, and that this is, in fact, the absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with. If I could rate them a minus, I would.

Do not go here. My husband and I completed out taxes in person with a "tax-pro". Our state taxes were not prepared correctly. We attempted to meet with this branch several times to correct the problem. They did not answer any phone calls or meet with us in person. We ended up having to go to another branch to correct our taxes. After a month and a half, someone finally reached out to us today. This was a terrible experience, and I would recommend going to any other branch.
