worse experience ever I would not recommend them to anyone. I initially reached out and was just sitting in the queue no one was working on my file then a month after waiting to hear back I reach out to team Vining to follow up. Then I was told no one had been working on my file Alexis ask me if I submitted all documents when clearly everything was uploaded to the portal then she ask am I working. IDK bout anyone else but who in their right mind would apply for a mortgage without any income. Of course, the asking of documents repetitively gets annoying. Then advising me to remove a forbearance on student loans cause the document provided which list payments after payments resume made no sense. It was a lot of unnecessary back and forth with no result. I do not recommend anyone to deal with this company very unprofessional and lacks communication with team members apparently!

Homeside saved us! All I can say is I dealt with my original lender for 1.5 months, and one week before closing, we ran into a deal killer. At the 9th hour, in 4 days Homeside approved and got my loan closed on time. We started the new loan process on a SATURDAY night and literally closed that coming Friday. Nick our lender was fast, communicative and came to closing with presents in hand. Thanks so much to this team!

Absolutely horrible experience John Norris and his team dropped the ball countless times with my loan missing important details and telling me about it at the very last second pushing my closing back numerous of times not answering phone calls not calling back absolutely no communicationCan not and will never recommend this team of professionals

I regret refinancing with this company every month that I'm forced to make a payment to them. Their customer service is atrocious to say the least. When calling with questions about an assumption of a mortgage I was first given the wrong information about what to email to the department handling my specific situation. My email was never responded to with any feed back explaining that I needed to add additional paperwork and instead was just simply ignored. When I called to ask why no one was responding I was told "if it's wrong no one will respond". How is that helpful in anyway?When I asked what I needed to correct I was given a brief answer with no explaination into the specifics of what I actually needed to do and what they needed to proceed. I had to literally pull the needed information from the customer service representative. Talking to the customer service representative at Homeside is like talking to cranky teenagers.I have delt with other mortgage companies and 100% recommend working with them over Homeside Financial. Save yourself the headaches they'll cause.

Horrible experience with this company long story short they rushed me into gettin a home inspection before all documents were in order and i lost the $550 it cost me for home imspection because the deal didnt go thru and they couldnt refund me they said a multi millionaire company!! Dont use them use someone else

Absolutely horrible!! Refinance rep promised me cash back with closing which was partly why we decided to go with this company. After closing it apparently wasn't in docs. The rep stopped responding to me after saying my funds would be mailed out. Customer service didn't help and refused to listen to rhe call and relied on their rep lying to them and denying what he said. They immediately resold my mortgage and nobody will fix the situation. I have never worked with such dishonest people. I told then I was counting on those funds and it would put me in a predicament and they didn't care or call me back to make it right. Absolutely avoid this company at all costs. Wish I would have followed all of thr reviews before proceeding

Good and smart people. I worked with Jeremy he was very helpful. This excellent team helped me to own my dream house. They was attentive, polite, and a team worker. They was ready anytime to answer my question and always give me the update of my loan approval with a lot of details . By the way my credit wasn’t that good but Homeside Financial get it done.

Be careful when talking to these loan officers, especially James Thomas. They will tell you they can get your deal done. Then a couple of days later, he send something completely different. We called in about a HELOC, and a few days later he had it set up to refinance our house and do a HELOC until I caught what he was trying to do.
