Thanks again Gadget Guru for saving the day! Silly me, I dropped my phone and the screen went black and Google did not have the answer. I called Gadget Guru, they talked me off a ledge (I was getting a bit nervous) after all, our phones are our lifelines. A day and a half later, I picked up my phone with a brand new screen, and it literally looks brand new. Thanks for the quality work and the super fast turnaround.

My reason for coming to Gadget Guru was two of my PS5 Controllers was having stick drift issue. Gadget Guru staff was great at explaining the services they provide on the process of their troubleshooting routine. I dropped my controllers of late Sunday afternoon, and they were ready for pickup early Tuesday. My controllers work perfectly fine.

Went here to fix my hdmi port for my ps5 A little expensive but there speed makes up for it extremely fast highly recommend only problem is that when they fix it it’s very weak 1-2 months later it broke again but beside that very great staff and very fast working people

I needed to get my laptop fixed after it suffered water damage, so I took it to a local repair shop that seemed reputable. They charged me a $50 diagnostic fee to identify the problems and provide an estimate for the repair. They promised to complete the diagnostic in 1-2 days.
Two days later, I called for an update and was told that my laptop had water damage and needed a new screen, both of which I already knew. The repair cost they quoted was $800-$900, significantly higher than the $500 quote I had received from Apple for an OEM part. When I asked for a detailed cost breakdown, they said they couldn't provide it until after a water treatment was done, which seemed unnecessary.
When I asked more specific questions to understand their diagnosis better, they avoided giving direct answers. They repeatedly mentioned that they needed to do the water treatment first before they could provide more details. I questioned whether the water indicators on the laptop had been triggered, but they initially said they didn’t check. After further questioning, they changed their response to say that the indicators were probably triggered, and water had reached the logic board. However, this contradicted what I and two other technicians observed; we had checked the logic board with microscopes and confirmed that the indicators were not triggered and the board was unaffected by water.
I told them I would pick up my laptop the next day, and when I arrived, they were unprepared, saying they didn’t know I was coming. I ended up waiting 30 minutes. When I finally received my MacBook, it was not only still open but also covered in scratches and the protective wrap was peeling off at the edges. These damages were completely unnecessary as I had previously opened the laptop myself without causing any damage.
The whole experience was disappointing. The shop did not provide the thorough diagnostic they promised, tried to charge much more than what was reasonable, and were evasive in their communication. They also caused additional damage to my laptop. Their service was unprofessional and lacked transparency, often replying with vague terms like "probably" or "maybe" and avoiding direct answers.
Overall, I strongly recommend not using this repair shop. They overcharge, provide misleading information, and handle customer property carelessly. If you need repairs, it's better to find a more reliable and straightforward service provider.
