Usually this store is understaffed, and while the staff are very nice there are a lot of issues. The number of times I haven’t been able to fill a prescription because of staff error has been significant. I’ve now gone a month without a major pill because they kept processing it wrong. I’ve spent countless hours on the phone with my doctors office, insurance, and leaving voicemails they don’t respond to with messages in the system my doctor or insurance needs to do something. Only to find out from both that cvs is processing it incorrectly. This happens every month and often causes significant delays in daily pills where I’m left weeks without them because of their incorrect processing. At some point it goes beyond negligence to doing harm to patients. This time it is well past that and I am not sure they are safe from anyone filling prescriptions. This isn’t even describing the time they tried to give me medication for my son with someone else’s name on it that I had to refuse multiple times. The state board should investigate here before someone gets harmed.

Pharmacy staff are rude and sarcastic. One of them told me she wouldn't give me my vaccine early because she had "better things to do". One waits in line for an hour and more for service. It's totally unacceptable. Staff need to wear name tags. CVS pharmacy in general only gets my business because it's the only place my insurance will cover unfortunately even though their system can't keep up with the due dates for refills on my meds.

The pharmacy techs here are always pleasant so it’s nothing on them but…RAHAF the pharmacist is extremely rude. I understand it’s busy but she refuses to slow down to listen to my questions and messed up my prescriptions many times. I was even on hold with her for 25 mins, when she picked up she proceed to cut me off and before I could finish she put me BACK on hold. Mind you I put my order in TWO WEEKS ago and I’m now without my order due to a “glitch” in the system and my prescription was magically deleted yet no one called to tell me about it. I found out about this magical “glitch” by calling in myself. Oh and the only option she gave me for getting my order faster was to call around to all the other cvs in the area on my own when she could have just suggested I get it mailed to me……RAHAF needs some serious empathy training bc this is crazy.

I normally don’t have issues with this CVS at Dobbin Road, but today was very different. I checked the times the night before to make sure I could pick up my prescription today. I drove over and sat in my car for about 10 minutes making sure my list was complete for shopping inside the Target, where the CVS resides. I walk in and walk up to the counter and the woman looks at me as if I’m supposed to understand her facial expression. I say hello I’m here to pick up. As I say that the gate starts closing right in front of me then the woman at the register looks at me like she’s annoyed and say “oh no we’re closing early for the day.” So I ask is there a way I could get my script and she says no we’re closing and continues to close the gate. I was pretty irritated. This was not how you conduct business. I do understand that emergencies happen and that other things happen but be kind to people who need their meds. Customer service in general and especially in the health care system. This is unacceptable.

This has to be the most incompetent cvs…the one on Dobbin Lane. Since last week I’ve been trying to get a prescription filled at this location, the people that work here are clueless…they couldn’t even articulate or communicate when the prescriptions would be available in their system. A Simple request. DO NOT GO HERE…instead go to CVS Ellicott City they are responsive and have medications more easily accessible

Wonderful staff! They filled my prescription within an hour. I will definitely continue to get my prescriptions from here.

The staff does its best, but the lines are always long. Lines at other drug stores nearby don't have nearly as long of a line. I am avoiding CVS if possible.

Very poor service. They dont pick up the phone and they don' have prescriptions ready. Pharmacist is really rude. I was told they would text me when rx arrived and they didn't do that either. Overall very poor experience repeatedly.

I’m dropping this to both target and CVS.1st off while this is about CVS, it’s inside a Target, Target should be fighting for their guests.2nd - CVS needs to hire more pharmacist in personnel behind the counter. This is an extremely busy pharmacy, but not enough support. The pharmacist had my script ready for the last five hours but I never received a notice because they never verified the script is completed. I then waited 45 minutes in line with only six people in front of me to pick up my script right at closing time. I would’ve been here earlier as my scrip was ready, but I never received a notification. HIRE SOME PEOPLE! You clearly have the work for it!

Hands down, the best CVS i've been to in the area. Employees were very nice and understanding. They are very speedy workers and had my prescription ready the same day it was called in. Definitely recommended this location.

Do not send your prescriptions here. They do not answer the phone. I’ve been waiting for them on the line multiple times for 30+ minutes. No one ever answers so you better hope you never have an emergency or an urgent prescription. They are also out of a lot of medications. I was having an allergic reaction and my doctors were nervous about it possibly becoming anaphylaxis which requires an epipen. They don’t have one. They don’t notify that they don’t have any. I had to call a separate CVS to check their stock. The lines here are always 30-40 minutes long and prescriptions take a few hours to get filled. You’re better off getting your prescriptions elsewhere.

Absolutely filthy. There was so much trash on the ground that people were kicking through it to get to the counter. Floor was covered in dust and hair. Trash was overflowing, half the staff wasn't wearing a uniform or name tag. Everything was messy, disorganized, and dirty. There is zero personal space in the "shots area" which is a little screen around 2 chairs. I had to tell a random guy (not a doctor or employee) to get out of the area because he wanted to see what I was doing while I was behind it. The employee assisting me saw this and did nothing. It was unsafe, grossly unsanitary, and disorganized. I would not take an animal here.
