I'm preparing to put my house on the market, and they responded quickly with the form I needed to give my realtor.

Very friendly and caring staff. Staff always put our cats at ease so they can get their shots and checkups. They have a lot of knowledge about cat behaviors and advice on feeding.

Once again, Hickory Ridge went beyond expectations. Our puppy had developed intestinal issues when we were out of town. We called Hickory Ridge on our way home and they were able to see us as soon as we got back into down. And, once again, the office staff, the assistants and the vet listened, asked lots of questions, developed a treatment plan with us, and gave great guidance. Everyone in this practice gets our praise.

No stars. This clinic is not equipped to help animals in any way. Once corporate SVP bought it a couple years ago, it went downhill fast. There isn't enough staff to handle the amount of appointments. Let alone the phone calls. You can see that the staff is burnt out. Overworked, overwhelmed. Corporate only cares about the money. Kecia is not the same veterinarian or person. Your pet is not receiving safe or good care when staff is burnt out, mistakes are made, pets feel the tension and chaos as soon as you open the door. It's awful. Really sad to see this neighborhood clinic go down. Not understanding why Kecia/Dr. Parrish would sell out to a corporation that has awful background. Concerning that they are trying to expand a small business that's inside of a house with the same amount/minimal staff and no additional rooms or space? It's like a minute clinic. The untrained technicians take your pet somewhere else to do bloodwork and things. There's no sense of patient-doctor relationship. You can't go there in an emergency and if you do, they're charging you thousands before transferring your pet to an ER. New clients are priority over the original and long-time clients/patients. Their website is completely misleading because they don't offer half the services listed. This is not a safe place to take an animal. I feel incredibly sorry for the young women still working there. This review is being done anonymously because the staff needs to be protected in case corporate does what we all know they do. Please spread the word about this hospital. Do not take your pet here. I will never take my pets there again. I will not support how they are treating the staff and how it affects your pets care. People really have no idea what is going on at Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital and that needs to change. The public has a right to know.

They are very knowledgeable and empathetic to our families' concerns. They always do a great job with quickly diagnosing the problems with our pets and manage crises

We got a senior dog recently who we wanted to get prompt checkup for. These guys got us scheduled in and had us fill out all paperwork in advance. The vet nurses are sweet and awesome and Dr. Mustafa is lovely to work with. She explained everything we needed to do for our dog, and why any medicines were being prescribed, and answered all our queries. Highly recommend these guys!

This is based on our first and only visit so far. Our greyhound was seen right on time with no wait. All staff were very friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. Though the establishment is small and local, they have a modern payment system and an online portal to track our pets medical history.

Clean facility and super nice nurses. They make your pet feel safe and at home in a way. I will definitely be back for follow ups.

Great practice, but are obviously over extended. Appointments are far and few between, and any urgent need they tell you to go to another practice - even for regular patients.

If I wrote everything I loved about this vet, I would still be writing this review into next week. I have a small dog sanctuary with a lot of medical dogs. Dr. Parrish and Dr. Mulford are very kind and caring. They are very knowledgeable and I trust them both totally with my babies, which says a lot because I don't trust anybody with my dogs... no one.... but I do trust them totally. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been taking my babies to this practice for 20 years. I originally chose this vet out of convenience because she was close to my house in Columbia, but, honestly, I would have driven an hour each way to see her. That is how great Dr. Parrish is. She's down to earth and very approachable with questions and concerns about your pets. If she does not know an answer to a question, she is not arrogant and she does not pretend she knows it. she calls you back after she researches it and gets the answer. Three months ago, I moved to Florida. By far, the thing I miss most about Maryland is Dr. Parrish and Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital. I have been to four different vets down here in Florida and I cannot find one that compares or that I like even 1/100th as much as I like Dr. Parrish. Having a good vet is extremely important to me with as many babies as I have. If you are in Howard County and you are not going to Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital, you have no idea the quality of care that you are missing. I literally offered to pay Dr. Parrish to fly down to Florida and vet my dogs once a year. That's how amazing she is. If I could give them 10 stars for a review, I would.

Never have I ever had a dog that gets SO EXCITED to go to the vet!! It's just a regular check up visit this time. I asked Brie if she wanted to go see her girls at the vet. She lept up and ran to the door, whimpering when I wasn't moving fast enough. When we got to Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital Brie caught a glimpse of Dr. Parrish and went wild wanting to see her. I can't think think of a more ringing endorsement than that! We can definitely feel the love here!

I've been happy with the care my cats have received at this practice. I prefer a cats-only practice, but there's nothing available within a 35 min drive of my house. Both Dr Parrish & Dr Mulford are excellent vets & they do a great job of communicating with owners on their pets' issues & options.

I've brought my pup here since I got her almost 3 years ago, just started bringing my new puppy here too. The staff is so nice, the doctors are amazing and truly take the time to chat through your pets health with you. Even during covid they've been so accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend anyone considering bringing their fur baby here.

Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital is a very knowledgeable, kind, and caring place to take your fur babies and pets for their health. They truly care about every animal that comes through their door and do their best to help. The great medical care is done with common sense. No unnecessary procedures or tests. My dog loves going there. When she sees me packing her bag to be boarded she gets so excited she runs for the door. She can’t wait to go. If she is that happy and willing to go, I know she is being treated well while I am gone.

Good, solid veterinary practice. One extra perk is that they offer boarding for their clients.
