I don’t get all the poor reviews… I booked a truck with a car dolly and they then both ready and hitched up when I arrived. Guy at the counter was super nice and everything was as expected. The only negative thing I could say is that the car dolly was pretty old/worn and a little challenging to use. But it worked and I towed a car cross country with it.Great service, no surprises in price/product!

They refused to give back out security deposit and it's been months since the rental was returned. They think they're above the law.

I echo the sentiment of the other poor reviews for this location. Made a reservation for a 12” truck weeks and weeks in advance of my move, and received a call the morning before pickup stating they had absolutely no trucks. However, I was referred to the Glen Burnie location for a 12” cargo van - yknow. Something completely different from a moving van. I haven’t received a callback from the unrepentant gentleman who is supposed to be looking into Glen Burnie’s truck situation, and I don’t expect I ever will. Avoid like the plague.

I reserved a 12 foot truck to move locally 8 days in advance. They called me the morning before I move to tell me they didn’t have a truck for me. Terrible service, I’d suggest try the Columbia U-Haul instead.

Made a reservation six weeks in advance in preparation for a move. Get informed the day before they no longer have a truck for us. Called manager and they basically told us there's nothing we can do, which left us seriously up a creek. They had many weeks to let us know and wait until the worst possible time and did nothing at all to make it right. I could not more highly recommend against renting from them. 0 customer service or business awareness. Pay the extra 50 bucks for a decent company like uhaul, these people suck.

Put in a reservation two weeks before my move date. I received a call the day before I am supposed to move telling me there are no trucks in the area for me to use for my CONFIRMED RESERVATION (others are complaining of the same thing happening). Save your time and do not use Budget for truck rental. The Budget representative I spoke with even recommended I use Uhaul for my truck rental needs. I will never use Budget again.

Do NOT use this company for any reason. If I could give 0 stars, I would. We booked a reservation WEEKS in advance, only to have them call me the morning before our move to say that they did not have a truck for us. Instead of helping us to find another truck within the company, they told us we had to call the main customer service line to try to get another truck. Completely unacceptable and terrible customer service. Luckily, the people at U-Haul were the exact opposite and helped us to reserve a truck on such short notice. 10/10 recommend U-Haul- avoid Budget Truck at all costs.

I made a reservation MONTHS in advance for a truck to move to Georgia. I even received an email confirmation a few days prior to pick up. I called to see if I could add a hand truck to the reservation only to be told that they had no trucks available at all - even for the next day, which was when I was supposed to pick it up! I called the main company number. The closest truck I could get was 39 miles away! And, of course, they had nobody to move it. Plus, it was 16' - bigger than I wanted. Out of fairness, the phone rep did discount the truck further to make up for their mistake. But why send confirmations on vehicles you don't have and inconvenience the customer?!

0 stars. This is the worst place to rent a truck. They gave us a dolly with frayed straps, which delayed our trip by 4 hours. Had to get on the phone with customer service, got transferred over 12 times, and the store manager couldn't be bothered on a weekend. Horrible customer experience.

I rented a truck for $50 online no problem it was straight forward but once I arrived at the pick up location the rep there over charged me by $100 and charged me a security deposit of $155 without telling me if I knew in advance I would've put it on my credit card instead this whole experience was a night mare especially since they took money out of my checking account without telling me btw I had to pay rent that day since I'm moving and after they over charged me when I addressed the situation the rep said they can't refund me the mistake they made at a store level and I would have to contact customer service so I called them from the store and the customer service rep didn't believe that I'm being overcharged so I said your store rep is right next to me I can put her on the phone if you need a confirmation and they said they didn't want to speak to them and that they can't refund me that I would have to file a dispute through my bank i never got an apology from anybody so in conclusion it's pretty much my fault for using budget on my moving day

We reserved two trucks and called THREE times over the span of six weeks to CONFIRM that they definitely would have trucks for us. Guess what happens when we call the day before. They don't have trucks. So we end up going with Penske who does everything beautifully. Never Budget again.

I don't understand if these ppl grasp the concept of customer service! I reserved a truck IN ADVANCED & get here to be told someone else will be taking the truck that was sitting in the parking lot. Common sense would be to keep track of the reservations being made at your location, so your not double booking trucks! These ppl didn't even have the decency to call and let me know the truck I reserved was given away. Instead they tried to get me to pay extra for a larger truck or wait 15 min until someone could call me back with a different location to go to. That is beyond inconsiderate and unprofessional. And definitely made me paying an extra $5 to go to u haul worth it.

If I could I would give this place NO STARS. We had to come to this location because the Budget in Reisterstown didn't have the size we originally reserved. We came to this location to get the size we reserved to find out that they downgraded us to a smaller truck. This company is horrible and their processes need to change.

Second time I've tried to reserve a truck and they don't have one come moving day. I even called the day before my move to confirm and they assured me that I had a truck. I'm not driving all over and paying for mileage to get your truck. They lie straight to your face. Never again.
