I have shopped at several different locations over the years. But this was my first time at this location and when I say the worst experience of my life. Stay away the service and communicate is horrible.

Hands down this has been the worst experience I have had purchasing furniture. I have never experienced such bad service from the miss information given, to the damaged furniture that was delivered, not forget the missing sections of furniture. I have been dealing with this Columbia locations for more than 6 months and I still don't have everything. Sad things is when you ask them to accommodate you because of the miss information and damaged furniture and so on all they can do is say sorry. Customer service is trash!!!!!!!! I would never in life purchase more items from this location. I have purchased items in the past from other locations and never had an issues. The commutation was great my delivery was fine. Columbia is trash and if I could give a 0 or negative I would.

I never leave bad reviews but purchasing furniture from here was an awful experience.
1) racism. My parents do not speak fluent English and when they went to go purchase furnitures, they were treated poorly by the employees except for Angie. Angie was counting the cash and when the manager saw them, the manager walked away saying "that's alot of cash." Later, about 20 minutes later, she walked in saying "we only take up to $5K in cash" and walked away smirking. If she had said this earlier, we would not have wasted all the time. My parents tried to say something but the manager just walked away and refused to address them. My parents initially left, upset with the service but returned a day later because they did appreciate Angie's efforts. Yet the second day, the other employees refused to even acknowledge their existence.
2. Delay. We were told that we would receive the furnitures within a month. My mom asked that if there are any delays, she would like some correspondence. It's been a month so I stopped by, only to be told that we will receive it by end of August, making it almost two months. There were no apologies until I asked for a full refund. The decision to ask for a full refund was because of the overall poor experience, discrimination, and lack of accountability.
Please do better, especially in a community that is incredibly diverse.

Update July ‘24. I had posted a two star review for the reasons below. After posting, someone from the social media response team replied and offered to send me completely new chairs, skipping the repair process altogether. The first delivery yielded one new chair in perfect condition and one that was worse than the chairs I already had. The second delivery brought me another perfect chair, so now I have two, which I really love. I appreciate that Arhaus replaced the chairs, but I waited through several lengthy delivery windows each time, missing work to do so. No discount or anything else was offered during the 5 months and 4 delivery appointments I waited through, but I am glad to have the chairs, so I’m changing my rating to a 4 for the merchandise and the fact that ultimately, the company stood behind it’s product.

We purchased 2 Harvey swivel gliders and 4 swivel counter stools 1.5 years ago. We had a few bumps with delivery, and waited through several delivery windows to get things right. Once we did, we were very happy with our chairs.
A year or so in, though, the swivel glider mechanisms started to become loud and creaky. I contacted Customer Service (CS) in February 2024, and it took a month, but Arhaus sent a tech out to look at them and he said they were faulty. From there, a long, drawn out headache has commenced. I’ve invested a lot of time contacting CS when there hasn’t been timely (or any) follow up from Arhaus for the next step in the repair process, including this past Monday morning going over everything again at length with the agent, who assured me I’d be hearing shortly from the delivery company and also a customer service supervisor, Helena, within the hour. It’s now Friday morning and despite a follow up email I sent on Wednesday, I’ve not been contacted by anyone.
We’ve made purchases in the past few years from several other companies such as Saatva, Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel, and when we’ve had any issues, all three of these companies have worked very hard to make things right and the process easy. I’m sorry to say that in the 3+ months that I’ve been trying to see if my Arhaus chairs can even be fixed, no one has even apologized for the inconvenience we are experiencing and they no longer seem to be following up at all.

Arhaus has so many great options for sofas. I was so indecisive for weeks. However, Indira was so patient with me throughout the whole process. I highly recommend working with Indira as she provides outstanding customer service! Indira and Ryan (manager) are so knowledgeable and always willing to help. Looking forward to working with them again in the near future!

Customer service and follow up after purchase is the worse of any Arhaus locations I have shopped. There is no follow up after making a purchase of $250 or $20,000. Do not expect a call back if there is a question or problem. You are on your own. I would NOT recommend shopping at this location. I would recommend Tysons Corner or Towson. Horrible shopping and buying experience.

The worst customer service, no follow up to the sale they made. We placed a nice size order, put 50% down, no issues. The nightmare started when we wanted to make a change few days after we placed the order. It took many many phone calls, with no return calls, I even left a VM to the manager with no call back, four weeks later we had to go back again to the store and waste our time to make the changes. No apology whatsoever. Just terrible experience, I won’t buy a pillow from there. The designer was fantastic, however the sales person put a nice show that she cared until she made the sale. Just terrible.

We ordered a sectional in October of 2022. We received part of the sectional but have yet to receive the rest. We contacted Arhaus but were told the piece had yet to be manufactured. It is now seven (7) months later, and when I call customer service, they keep me on hold and either tell me nothing or hang up in the middle of the call as if it dropped.After I filed a BBB complaint, I received a call saying that the delay was because they had to send us a piece of material for our approval of the color. Think of how ridiculous this is. They gave you part of the couch, and they say they are waiting for our permission to color the connecting piece of the couch. What? I am going to get a different color for the connecting portion. Anyway, they can't get their stories straight. The other customer service says that the piece still needs to be manufactured. Now they are offering to refund the cost of the connecting portion, which renders the other two pieces useless. I swear that I had better customer service at Walmart. This was an $8K+ couch.

Very bad customer service. Never go to this store ever. Your money will be drained to the pit. We bought three room furniture from this store back in Nov. 2022. We were told that it will be delivered in March or April 2022. They were delivered in June 2022. The total purchase amount was $33,000. One of the rooms furniture was for dinining table, Nika dining table and the other one was Leandro coffee table. Both tables , they call is natural wood and can show the stains apparently, which we were not notified at the time of purchase. With in 2-3 days of use after keeping the water cups on these two tables , it started showing water marks which will not go away after drying. So we took the concern to the store to the same sales rep, Gwen. She said to talk with the concierge representative. Then we did that. The concierge representative said to talk to the store rep. Then we called back, Gwen said send her the pictures and email with details as some items came wrong too. 2-3 weeks go by and we kept emailing and calling. Then calleds were being ignored. I PERSONALLY GO TO THE STORE, GWEN SAID SHE CAN'T HELP ME AS SHE WAS SO BUSY. Then she said to call the manager. I called the manager, Jamie. She asked me to email the details to another person, Michelle. With so much back and forth with Michelle, same answer, they can't refund the items as it's NATURAL WOOD. So instead of just cutting the wood from the backyard, they want $10,000 from us for the selling it. Go with Haverty's as they are better prices, better customer service. We made a mistake of going with this people after going with Haverty's for years.
