Kudos to Mary for working her magic in getting my finger stick to go from 12.1 to 12.8! Thanks to Cris for two perfect sticks and Kelly for a smooth takedown! Love the new shirt too!

The front office, lady was sweet and helped me with the check in process. She brought me to the back room to prepare for the donation. I appreciated her dearly. The two black women I assumed are phlebotomists, they’re extremely rude and cold towards me, is it because I’m a deaf person and inconvenience to them..?They kept escalating the situation while I remain calmed and friendly. They finger point at one of us from 15 feet away and made such rude gestures. It was confusing to which one they want to speak with. They then verbally tell the interpreter to come without me to have the dialogue. They cut off the communication between donor (me) and the interpreter while in the dialogue during my presence. The interpreter is unable to interpreting/ keep me informed as to what’s going on with my appointment issue. This left me in limbo and no clue what they’re talking about. They booted the interpreter out and then approached to me with her impatience hand waving at my side to get my attention (I was trying to assess the situation to pick up some puzzles and try catch my interpreter through the window to get the cues since I’m completely clueless as to why they booted it out with no explanation.) It appeared they aren’t people person and snap on donors whoever they don’t like.We haven’t even formally introduce ourselves from start. I informed her I would like to cancel my appointment since the atmosphere turned to uncomfortable and intense vibe. They had the nerve to pressure me to stay in the private room for screening and prepare for a procedure afterwards. I repeatedly said no, I want to leave the premise. It took a couple minute for her to let me leave. Disrespected me third time and not granting my wish to leave is a MASSIVE red flag. This indicate how bad it is. I no longer want to attend this location and will use other location from now to on. I haven’t had any problems with other locations but this location. Their professionalism and dignity are thrown out of the window if you ask me for my experience. Red Cross customer service rep is currently working with me to file the formal complaint and paperworks.

I've been donating here regularly (monthly or more, since I give platelets) for about seven years now. Not every experience is great every time, but overall the staff are friendly and professional.

They tested my blood, which is fine and normal. But then they called me and said I was positive for Hep B but we're awaiting confirmatory testing. Confirm came out negative but they still said I had to wait 6 months to donate again. Lol? Do you want my blood or not?So, because these guys goofed, they threw out my last donation and are punishing people in need by making me wait to donate again. Not to mention, giving me an unnecessary scare.

My first visit was near a holiday so it might be why the visit was not very pleasant. I also assume they were short staffed. The head nurse was not very kind to employees or those donating...not a friendly voice at all. My donation was about an hour in the chair..not whole blood..and once I was stuck I was left alone the whole time I bled. No one checked on me. This is very disconcerting to say the least. Two of the employees were friendly but only in my attempts to engage them. In any case I plan to return in hopes that I can give a better rating as I do believe this is a very worthy cause.

Two stars for the volunteer at the front desk.Went in to donate, and ended up deferred for a medication. This made no sense to me because I was able to donate without issue a few months ago.Contacted the Red Cross directly and was told that I was eligible. Apparently I got a lazy phlebotimist today.Don't waste your time,; my gut was correct. Donate blood somewhere else.

I have never had an issue here that was the staff's fault. The volunteers and staff are friendly and professional. I will say the phlebotomists are always short handed but that's not my issue.

I've not donated anywhere else since high school....I'm waaaay beyond that now. I've not received anything but the best service/reception here. My most recent donation was Double Red. Appt was for 9 a.m. I arrived 5 minutes early and was out by 10:10. Charlise was incredibly kind and shared her knowledge with me as I went through the process. All the staff was respectful and kind during my donation period.

My experience started great but then ended so badly. When my spouse and I arrived the receptionist was extremely nice and the intake professional who worked with me was also very nice. The problem started when they took my blood. It was so painful, 3 different people came over to help. It wasn’t until I was almost in tears that the lines were taken out. I now have a blow vein and tremendous arm pain. The bruising on my arm is substantial and awful. I hate to leave a negative review when I was trying to do something to help the greater good and my spouse has gone multiple times without issue. The entire experience will make me never return.
