I'll say it, we all have a certain expectation when it comes to the post office. However, this was a revelation. The gentleman behind the counter couldn't have been more courteous and efficient in helping me, Even after I made a mistake. If you need to do any in person postal business, this is the place.

Customer Service is terrible and I don’t think they care. You ring the bell and nothing, you just wait. Didnt even acknowledge I was there, Very frustrating. use the one is Rising Sun, MUCH BETTER SERVICE!!

Do not go here if you actually need something done. Worse than the MVA. I had read the bad reviews, but was thinking, nah, not my small town post office. Never really thought this before, but after the many issues I alone have had, I now realize the USPS needs to be privatized, and lazy employees fired. Just another bloated government agency with zero accountability.

Absolutely terrible service. Rude!!!!! Terrible attitude. I stood in line patiently waiting behind four other customers. I had a prepaid package that she didn’t want to scan. Told me to drop in out front in the unsecured area and it would get scanned later. She said she wouldn’t scan it again. I told her a never had this problem at the Conowingo post office and she said I could take my things there. Sure she would like to lighten her load. Maybe she should be thankful for the business and her job. Just opened a UPS account for all of my shipping needs. No wonder USPS is in trouble.

Hands down the worst post office in the US. The old lady behind the desk is incredibly slow and rude. You can hear her humming in the back or running her mouth on her phone for 10 minutes before she comes out to the front. If I make a return my package will sit in the Dropbox for a few days before it finally gets shipped out.

One star above conowingo PO. Only because the building is nice...but service is not good. Lazy workers are mean and take off for lunch. No wonder the USPS is tanking. This PO is the pennical of bad service and pure laziness. Terrible customer service and these ladies act mean.

I know there are all these problems with the USPS corporate offices but, my family has been dealing with the horrific service that this post office provides for years. From rude comments, facial expressions, chronic lateness, failure to serve, not adhering to posted times of business hours and lack of common decency has been going on for far too long. Don’t even try to file a complaint with their superiors because it goes no where. Really they know who complains and it makes it worse. Living in a small town there are not many choices for a post office. Just writing this as a warning to others.

Takes a while for people to come outta the back and the fact they close the front counter for lunch kinda sucks for people that need to drop off mail during there lunch break but over all good service

Ridiculously horrible service. I went for a passport renewal and the photo was sent back to me as it was the wrong size. No big deal, I thought. Went back to the post office today to have them retake the photo. The photo was again too large. I compared it to the one that was originally sent in and they were the same size. I took the photo back and asked them if there was anyway to resize it, or take another photo if need be. I was told no, and that the photo would suffice, even though the new one was the same exact size as the rejected one. Anyone with common sense knows that you wouldn't send back the same thing hoping for a different result. Very rude, to the point that I'm writing this negative review, which I've never done in the past. Save yourself and go someplace else. Anywhere else.

I'll start off by saying that I've never left a review of anything online, but my frequent experiences at this location changed my mind. The lady that works the counter is the most rude, unhelpful person that I've ever come across. Every time i come to this location i have to ring the bell several times and wait for her to come out. Then when she finally comes out (many times after waiting an extended period of time) and starts processing my packages, she is rude and stabs at the keyboard while entering the information. I tried to ship a package internationally about 20 minutes before they closed one day and she said it was too late and i need to come in earlier. Great customer service by this lady. Ill drive the extra 5 minutes into Rising Sun next time.

I needed passport assistance the lady was not only rude but very unhelpful. The online information states that they except walk ins until 3pm. The lady informed me that because she was by herself & I didn't have copies or photos already taken that there was nothing she could do & that they actually discontinue passports at 245p. It was a far enough drive from Baltimore just to come here to be turned away & unassisted.

This facility delivered my package to the wrong address. Rudely told me I was at the wrong facility and to go to Conowingo, I'm in colora, that Conowingo delivered my package to a totally different address. Call Conowingo and they tell me that info is wrong. Call colora back first thing Monday morning and they inform me that they had a sub that day who delivered my package to wrong mailbox Bc we have too many mailboxes in a row she got confused. I ask why did you tell me that it was delivered by Conowingo to a different address? Oh our system hadn't updated and the address was wrong in the old system or whatever. Are you kidding?! As of now, I still have no package or any idea where it is. The post lady is supposed to be checking with my neighbors to see if it got delivered to them. I highly doubt that will happen Bc it was delivered on Wednesday, somewhere. I'm sure if someone was going to be honest about it, it would be turned in by now. The post master here is HORRIBLY rude and unprofessional. Completely LAZY and should not have a job here.
