They are the most compassionate people I have experienced as far as helping me through the grieving process after my beloved Stella passed. Prices for cremation and all the extras they provided were very reasonable.

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing these people are. We bring all of our family dogs here and once my German shepherd started going downhill a few years back I moved her over to Basin run. Despite their best efforts after meds, injections, medicated baths for over a year they couldn’t save her. This is absolutely no reflection on them she was so old and it got to a point where there were no more options. The other day we had to put bear down which was the most awful experience of my life. They did everything they could to make it easier gave me time with her let me hold her as she went to rainbow bridge and her main vet came in to say how sorry he was and try to help console me. This morning I woke up to beautiful flowers with a note attached from Basin Run telling me how sorry they are for my loss. I’ve been to a million vets offices and basin run stands alone. These people are the kindest most down to earth people I have ever met. They took the best care of Bear like she was their own and when the time came despite me sobbing in the room I could feel them grieving with me. If you need a vet that you never have to question or worry Basin run is the place to go. These people are something special through and through

Compassionate care from the moment you call to schedule the appointment to the moment you walk out the door.I found Basin run animal hospital by chance on a google search when I came down with a sick chicken and no clear options on who could examine her. I called in around 10am on a Saturday as a brand new patient hoping to take the chance but reluctant that a vets office who I’m not an established member with would see my chicken as a last minute visit on a Saturday. To my surprise I was met with compassion on the phone when I explained the situation, I was placed on hold for a moment and then told they could get us in at 12:30. Driving to the hospital I was still a bit reserved thinking likely they’ll just offer to humanely euthanize my chicken for me just so she didn’t suffer through the weekend. But again to my surprise I was greeted by a vet tech who again was filled with compassion for my situation and my animal, she too had chickens and could relate to knowing how tough it is when your “favorite girl” is sick. At this point I was less surprised but equally as pleased to discover Dr. Wilson also being so compassionate and knowledgeable. She did a thorough examine and discussed treatment options with me. She offered more extensive testing (X-rays to confirm the pneumonia she heard on exam) or we could proceed with the antibiotics and pain medication solely. I appreciated this approach because they are also aware and respectful of people’s budgets despite how much we all care about our animals. Dr. Wilson along with the Vet tech, took plenty of time to answer (and re answer) all of my questions. I was a bit hesitant about giving the oral medication so the Tech once again gave a compassionate suggestion that we give the first doses in the office so they could teach me and I would feel comfortable. She showed me how to properly hold her and administered the medication and then I got to do the second medicine feeling confident I could care for her at home.Having a sick animal is never a fun experience and sometimes it can be really stressful if you do not have the right care team. I am so grateful for the staff on today at Basin run Animal Hospital in a world where everyone could use a bit more compassion, I was met with an abundance of it today. If you are considering using this practice I thoroughly would recommend!

We have been with Basin Run for about a year and a half with 4 or 5 visits with a well mannered cat. We have really loved every person we have met from a very compassionate and helpful front desk team, to the patient and empathetic vet techs, to the knowledgeable, calm, and thorough veterinarians. We have always been able to be seen quickly, usually same day. They’ve been very kind with my Squash and compassionate with our human emotions. I haven’t been to another vet (to be able to speak to pricing) because we are pleased with the care and customer service. They do work with you to balance out conservative vs. aggressive options based on what’s best and your budget. I recommend looking in to pet insurance while they are young! We are going through our first claim, no determination yet, but the office staff has been helpful in assisting with documentation and phone calls.

It was so hard to have to make the decision to put our sweet dog down but it was such a blessing to have a place close to home that had a special homey room to spend our last moments with our sweet boy. The people were all very caring and thoughtful and this made the process much less devastating. We are so blessed that God gave us our doggie for many years; we just gave him back to God ?❤️. I would absolutely recommend Basin Run for your animals needs.

Our dog Garin was a new patient and the compassion that was shown by the entire staff as we worked our way through this difficult time was beyond exceptional. Dr. Muse truly shows the love he has for animals and really went above and beyond in helping with the care of Garin. We ended up having to say goodbye to Garin and we were never alone through the whole process.

First & last time I bring my dog here. Didn't want an x-ray due to possible blockage having blood diarrhea issues. Gave him some dog food & "let's see if he can pass the blockage on his own". 2days later he's thrown up blood & I've taken him elsewhere for better care, testing & x-rays. VERY OVER PRICED WITH LITTLE TO NO CARE FOR YOU PET. I RECOMMEND GOING ELSEWHERE

I just wanted to thank the staff and Dr. Wilson for taking such good care of my pup Teddy. He's almost 13 and we've never had any health issues or emergency situations until this past Wednesday night. When I called our vet Thursday morning they could not see us for a week. Teddy's eye was very swollen, red and draining and I knew he was hurting. I called Basin Run Friday atc10:15 and they asked if we could come over at 11. I was so grateful.Tessa and Dr. Wilson were professional and so caring and took such good care of Teddy. Dr Wilsontook the time to examine him throughouly. I am so grateful for them seeing us as emergency. Thank you to the administrative staff too. Teddy does need some dental work andWe will be going forward with Teddy's needs with Dr. Wilson. Thank you again to all at Basin Run. We appreciate you.

We were fit in last minute as a new patient. They did an excellent job and even if they couldn’t fit us in today they had availability tomorrow or Monday. They see reptiles and I will be bringing all of mine here from now on!
