It's 2:30 am at the time I'm typing this and I can't sleep. Too much noise from other guests, cars/bikes on the roads and the air conditioner in the room. My kids stayed up all night. Room smelled stuffy and the pool smelled and looked weird. I regret spending money on this stay. We all have stuffy noses now. My reservation shows that breakfast is included; got here and found out it's only for 2 of 4 people. Have to pay breakfast for 2 people. First and last time here. This has ruined our experience here in MD.

I stayed here recently for a softball tournament… my room and the front desk were excellent. Richard from the restaurant/bar area was absolutely terrible. He is extremely rude and has no customer service skills. This man made our teams feel as though we were in jail, instead of hotel guests. His actions and attitude were borderline discriminatory. If you say at this location avoid the restaurant/bar area or you will be thoroughly insulted by RICHARD.

Reserved a hotel with a pool only to discover that the manager had closed the pool to a school class during pool opening times, even though we paid for this with the overnight price. No discount, no apology, no happy birthday, no rebooking. Service is simply a no-go from management. The students couldn't behave, the teacher didn't care, for example putting street shoes on the tables. At the reception we received an inappropriate answer about the pool, after a 7 hour drive we received that we were allowed to go to the pool all day the next day to celebrate our birthday there. Do you also celebrate your birthday all day in a hotel pool? Of course we are on a day trip to the American capital. The management didn't even leave a short message for our birthday, let alone an apology. It's just a matter of school classes coming back again and again and booking several rooms there and bringing in money.

Best breakfast, a large variety. Value for money.
The lady in charge of breakfast is very cold towards guest, quick to turn away guests saying they didn't pay for breakfast.

Stayed here while my son competed at UMD. The location is excellent for access to main roads. There is a WAWA essentially attached, which was also extremely convenient.
All local hotels were booked solid for this competition. The front desk was swimming with people looking to check in, and the employees worked through each customer scenario with grace and poise. I was really impressed at how quickly and calmly they handled the swarm.
The room itself was adequate. There was a funky smell coming from the plumbing, but I really wasn't in the room long enough to find the need to complain.

This place is run down and the elevator stops working all the time. The breakfast buffet is its saving grace.

I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn for two nights with my son's soccer team and my family, and I must say, it was an excellent experience despite the hotel being quite busy. There was a quinceañera in the banquet hall and a few graduation trips happening simultaneously, but the staff handled it all wonderfully.
From the moment we checked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The amenities were top-notch. My son and his teammates loved the pool, and I appreciated the well-equipped gym. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet at the lobby restaurant. It was a real breakfast spread with delicious options like French toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. They also had cereals and fruits for those who prefer a lighter meal.
The rooms and facilities were exceptionally clean, and the housekeeping staff were always friendly and accommodating. There were some ongoing renovations, but it was clear they were working hard to keep the hotel updated and in good condition.
Overall, our stay was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area. The combination of great amenities, delicious breakfast, and outstanding staff made our stay memorable and enjoyable.

We stayed here the beginning of April. The location is good as it is accessible to the Metro via a bus which the stop is in the rear of the hotel. The hotel website boasts updated rooms but the room we stayed in did not seem to be updated at all. Thirty minutes after we checked out I realized I left two tops hanging in the closet. I immediately called the hotel and reported my mistake and was told by the front desk clerk she would have housekeeping check and call me right back. Ten hours later I called and was told there was nothing there. I could only make the assumption an employee took my tops. Two weeks went by and I decided to leave a review warning folks that someone in housekeeping staff may have a lack of integrity. (Thank God it wasn’t a computer or something of great value) The VERY NEXT DAY the manager Michelle called my husband to report my tops had miraculously been found and she would personally mail my tops at no cost to me that afternoon. Two weeks later I still had not received my tops and called Michelle and finally after several times of calling and leaving messages Michelle told me she couldn’t mail anything because it was the end of the month (?) and it would be going out within a week. Here we are the end of May and still nothing. I recognize my part in this as I left my items, but the suspicious timing of them miraculously finding my tops (after my negative review-which I removed after Michelle contacted us the first time), to being told by the manager she would handle it immediately and the rest of the story, I am over it. We stay at Holiday Inns all over the country and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any of them. The staff obviously lacks integrity from the management on down. If you choose to stay here beware of leaving anything behind as you will likely never see it again.

The property is showing its age, despite interior renovations within (I'm just guessing here) the last 10 years. There were mushrooms growing in my air conditioner, which made for a very musty smell in the room any time it was raining or humid. The location also leaves something to be desired, as Baltimore Ave is always gridlocked around here at rush hour. Having a Wawa next door is a plus, though.

My day trip was pleasant then it wasn’t when I was woken up at 8:30am by housekeeping knocking and continuously ringing the bell to see what time I plan on leaving.
I called the front desk to complained to the manager her response was people check out early all the time it’s their custom to knock that early.
She was cold and I was shocked at her response telling me “I apologized already what else do you want me to do?”
Well I’ll make sure I don’t recommend this location nor will I stay here since being rude is the custom here.

While the did try to accommodate us by switching our room, the first room we had there were bugs all over the beds, walls and in the bathroom. They moved us to the third floor and it was a little better but we were just totally uncomfortable after the experience from the first room. Also there was no parking and we were told to park in a handicap spot.
