The area is nice and the apartments are fair. What’s unacceptable is how often the garage doors are broken and how often erroneous fire alarms will go off and multiple times they have lasted literally 4+ hours in the middle of the night, which is even more of a nightmare if you have pets. Minor annoyances like the outdoor courtyards being randomly closed some day, but the fire alarm and state of disrepair of facilities (including elevators and trash chutes), for the price you pay to live here is ridiculous. Unenforced “no parking or stopping at any times” in front of the single remaining functional garage exit makes it so Uber Eats/doordash drivers love to block you from entering or leaving your home. Seth, one of the leasing agents, is a helpful and nice guy though.

The place is awesome but the people who work there are even better. Deandre Henderson is the director, he is very professional and makes time for you. Customer service is hard to find these days but they go out of their way to assist people. Scale of 1-10 my experience is and 11

Domain is a terrible place to live, especially for those with disabilities. A prime example is that the lobby elevator has been broken since November, and it's now January. Domain management sent out several emails asserting that their contractor is at fault for the extended outage. There is one other elevator on the opposite side of the building, and it's a long walk that requires residents open heavy manual doors. And that elevator is broken even more frequently! Beyond being unfair to residents who pay thousands for expected amenities, this is a major accessibility issue and completely unacceptable for a building built after the ADA.It’s currently 7:45am, and the fire alarm has been blaring since 4:45am. The fire department came and established that it was a false alarm (the second time this week I believe) and domain's response was just to sent out an email suggesting the fire department was partially at fault.Update: once again, the fire alarm is sounding. The main stairwell door and main elevator are both broken. We have not received prior communication regarding the alarms or maintenance issues. The 3rd floor is inaccessible from the stairwell, but you won’t find out until you’ve already climbed the stairs. (Alarm ended up lasting 12:40pm until after 5pm)Update: just 2 days after the last update, the garage door is broken. Domain assured us that, while they can't actually fix it, they are well-prepared because they have extra springs on site? They sent out an email explaining that the delay was solely the contractor's fault.Additionally, when I signed up for a paid parking spot in 2023, a resident services manager, Daniel Yeatman, assigned me to an already-taken spot. When I mentioned this, he said I should just use the free parking area until the other car could be towed (to be clear, he informed me I would continue paying for paid parking, but would instead have to park in the free parking area.) After about a month of not being able to use the space, I asked for access to the parking area I was paying for. Daniel claimed that the other person was erroneously parked but he would not tow them (he shared that he personally disagreed with the towing policy, so he didn't want to enforce it), and that I could not switch to a different parking spot. Since the space was not usable, I requested to cancel this subscription service. He informed me that cancellation requires 30-day notice (even though I never got to use the spot.) So I gave 30 days notice. Now clearly irritated, he then actually rejected the 30 days notice on the basis of not feeling like it and being “busy” (with his breakfast.) He refused to provide any clarity about when I would be allowed to cancel my subscription. If you live at Domain, get ready to get robbed. Later, he suddenly agreed to switch my parking spot, which was a pleasant surprise. Ironically, the offered solution was an intentional act of malice – the "available" spot was also occupied. After pointing this out, he went down to the resident garage, came back up, and picked out a third occupied spot for me. It was obviously malicious. After contacting a supervisor, I was able to cancel the subscription, but Domain brushed off the incident, explaining that his conduct didn't really matter since he'd already put in his 2-week notice. High staff turnover does not excuse poor customer service or deceptive, predatory practices.I suggest management add an option to add/cancel parking spaces online. If you really don’t endorse this practice, it shouldn’t be hard to exit a subscription.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Since the new management team was hired, I cannot remember a time where everything in the building was working as it should. The fire alarms go off for hours for no reason, the elevators are always broken, the garage door is broken, some of the keypads to enter the building are broken, and the only printer in the building is broken. These things are all happening simultaneously, and while rent prices continue to increase, they never provide any compensation for everything being broken. The worst part is that they never have an answer for anything regarding the things that are broken, and they never address it when it breaks. They always say "it's not our fault, we're waiting for our supplier for parts" and never take accountability for things being consistently broken. They also never tell you it's broken in a timely manner. They just slap a paper on it that says it's broken, and then a week later they'll tell you that it's broken, it's not their fault, and that they don't have an estimated time for repair. The main elevator has been broken since Thanksgiving, and we haven't received an update for when it will be fixed. They also write their own reviews, and they have actually taken down and deleted multiple reviews from people who are saying the same things that I am. If anyone is thinking of renting here, please stay away and spend your money elsewhere. Ignore the many positive reviews as the experience was fantastic when the old management was here, but the new management ruined it and has posted fake reviews. You can stay somewhere just as nice that has everything properly working for a fraction of the rent. Stay away from this place unless new management comes in.

I recently had the pleasure of touring Domain College Park and I wanted to share my positive experience. From start to finish, the tour exceeded my expectations, leaving me genuinely impressed with the property. The attention to detail in the design and layout of the apartment showcased a commitment to creating a comfortable and stylish living space. The amenities provided were not only modern but also well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of quality. What stood out the most, however, was the professionalism and courtesy Tynelle, and Seth who guided me through the self-guiled your process. Their knowledge about the features of the apartment, as well as the surrounding community, was thorough and informative. They patiently answered all my questions, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.Additionally, the seamless booking process and timely communication further demonstrated the efficiency of your management team.Overall, my apartment tour left a lasting positive impression, and I am seriously considering making it my new home.

I unfortunately cannot rate more than 1 star until I can be assured that the safety and comfort of residents is UDR’s priority. It is a shame, because I love the location and the interior of the building. My unit is very nice. Day-to-day maintenance and office staff are very kind and responsive. But the experiences we have had with the critical facilities and safety equipment here have me concerned. In the past 60 days we have had 3 false fire alarms, one of them in the middle of the night and two of them exceeding FOUR HOURS in duration. The purpose of the alarm is to protect. With the confusion and malfunction of the system, I and many other residents no longer feel safe. Inconsistent and contradictory explanations for why the system is having problems leads us to believe that the problem isn’t being handled fully. In an environment that is supposed to be quiet and inhabitable, especially for students studying for final exams and their work, ear piercing false alarms are not acceptable. We have no reason to believe that there will ever be a long-lasting solution due to the history of issues with elevators and gates, that get “repaired” and then immediately break again. In the rare email correspondence, residents are sometimes blamed for malfunctions, ones that less frequently occur at other properties. It is clear that corners are being cut when it comes to investing the enormous rental income into the critical facilities of this building, and over the past year or so, it’s started to deteriorate. Common areas are in worse condition, walls are scuffed and need painting and patching, doors are peeling paint, lights are out inside and out. I would normally be hesitant to post a scathing review but all of these issues are at the expense of residents who are shelling out tens of thousands of their dollars a year in exchange for a quiet and upscale place to live. It’s not reflecting that anymore. Please improve.

Fire alarm going off again. Five hours and counting! At least it's not going off at 4 AM... this time.Elevators? Broken. Stairwell door? Broken. Printer? Broken. Garage access door? Broken. When things break, they are usually broken for months at a time, or are "repaired" then break again immediately. For all this, you pay $2,000/month minimum. Get out while you can.

Fire alarm issues, elevators always broken and terrible costumer service from the lady at the front desk makes this building a regrettable experience. Moving out as soon as lease expires and not looking back.
