Store salespeople did not help me. No one bothered to say hello or offer to start a fitting room for me. This was a weekday when it wasn’t very busy. No one checked on me in the fitting room. I won’t be back.

Two staff members were very rude to me while I was trying to help my mom with her clothing selection. I was also planning on trying on some clothing as well, but I was turned off after that. Not to mention, their selection is awful, their prices are high, and the quality of their clothing is lacking. Not LGBT friendly, either. I definitely do not recommend it. There are plenty of better options of stores out there.

Every time I come to Hunt Valley, I enjoy going to this shop with my friend. The quality of clothes is great and all size from Petite to Women extra large. Sweaters, jackets, pants, at very low discounts.Great design.

Talbot’s…ordered multiple items on 11/07/2023 but they have never been delivered. Need to contact Maryland State’s Attorney General immediately.

This is a true "outlet" like outlets used to be. Not like the Talbots outlet at outlet centers which carries a different, less expensive (but not exactly cheap) line of clothes. This store does carry that less expensive line of clothes for Misses and Petites, but not in Women's sizes (hense not 5 stars)... however, they also include a whole section of clothes from the expensive Talbot store marked down to $5-$15 per item, or like 80% off the lowest marked price. Many of these clothes are out of season, or maybe from last year, and they often don't have an item in all sizes, but what you do find is cheap and high quality. I've gotten a large number of my work pants here over the years for cheaper than I could get at Walmart, and they last a lot longer than clothes from Walmart.

I was thrilled to combine a medical appointment at Johns Hopkins with a return to this store. My home is 1 1/2 hours away in Pennsylvania. I LOVE shopping here as it is possible to move between size "departments" to find the perfect fit. The salespeople are delightful: always knowledgeable to answer questions without ever bothering you to offer help. I am very independent in my tastes, and don't really appreciate the retail associates who seem to forever ask if this or that should be put into the dressing room. As is the case everywhere, prices have gone up a bit. When I visited today, almost everything in the store was 60-70% off last store sale prices. Given the fact that there used to be clearance racks where all jackets were $19.99 or skirts $9.99 for example, it was a bit disappointing to find the same items now often at twice the prices. But it is what it is and there are still great reductions and selection. I must admit that I come from the Baby Boomer generation which experienced a time of "matchy-machyness." But there is no need to style your outfits accordingly.I have no problem finding classic separates as a base for interesting combinations. I love the brilliant hues which often give a "pop" to my outfits. I do, however, find dresses which seem "matronly." The patterns often seem outdated or there sometimes an excess of fabric. I have found some great sundresses, though. I loved the jewelry when it was all on sale for about 5 or 10 dollars. It is far less interesting now at half price. Often the pieces were meant to coordinate with the clothes of the respective season. Without coordination with featured clothes they may seem of less interest by themselves. I should add that I appreciate being able to use reward coupons at these stores. Also the 60-day return policy is an added courtesy-- especially for those of us who travel from a distance. 5
