Just sold a 2015 SUV with low mileage. CarMax paid me more than $4K over dealer trade-in offer. They honored the online quote and I received the check on the spot in less than 20 minutes. Mobile deposited in the evening and saw the balance the next morning, First time using CarMax. What a pleasant surprise! I did not realize that selling a car at this CarMax would be so smooth. It was a simple and fast experience selling my car. The staff was friendly and efficient. They also honored the online estimate! The only recommendation would be to have a coffee machine in the waiting area. But I will definitely be back either way!

CarMax is a great company but don't be fooled by their extended warranty. Don't buy the JM&A extended warranty. It's not what it used to be.

I was in a peculiar situation selling a car, where most dealers even declined to consider. Not only did the staff at this location answer tens of my questions calmly, they also very patiently walked me through the process I needed to go through to be able to go through with the sale. They also told me that I did not I can sell the car wherever I want after the process and did not push at all!
After everything was settled and time came for an appraisal and inspection, they were fair, honored the price even though the quote had expired as they were aware that the delay was due to the process I had to go through prior to the sale. Very thankful for the great staff!

Lowballed us at $3.5k for my SUV. We ended up going to a dealership nearby and they gave us $6.5k, don’t fall for their lowball offer!!

Went in for an appraisal and Joe was professional and attentive. Only took about 15 minutes and I had an offer that I was happy with given the cars condition. I went back later in the week to sell it and the process was again quick and easy. Anyone looking to sell a car, and not deal with any hassle, I’d definitely recommend.

Went to have my car appraised for resale. Everyone was courteous and professional. Wait time was minimal. I was given a written estimate for my car that was very fair. I would recommend this place.

This location does not jump out at you, but it is directly on York Rd. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend using them for appraisal or sale.
