I can't see, it's hot as hell, and I've been stuck in the waiting room of this POS office for near an hour. I will never come back here if I can help it. I have been to RGW location in Virigina and have never had an issue. It appears this office in an unfortunate exception that seems to have a chronic overscheduling problem.

Dr. Theodora Vroustouris (aka Dr. V of Northern Virginia Doctors of Optometry - Crystal City, VA) referred me in 2020 after finding a macular hole (small tear) in my retina during my annual exam. I was nervous, but Dr. V assured me that I'd be in good hands with Dr. Aziz Khanifar.My first visit was in 2021. I had a laser procedure done to correct the tear. It was nerve-wracking, but painless and over in about 15 minutes. (I'm sure my nail prints are still embedded in the arms of the examination chair, lol) After several monthly appointments to check my retina's progress, I was given the "all clear" and now I am to be seen on an annual basis. (Woo hoo!)Extra special thanks to Dr. Khanifar and his staff for the great care that I have received and for always being hospitable during my visits!__I eat. @f.huxI thrift. @DCthriftish

Have been seeing Dr. Khalifar for almost a year. He and his staff are efficient and very caring. When I experienced an irrational the night after my procedure and called the emergency number, I received a callback very quickly. I was very impressed. And I love how Dr. Khalifar use “slight of hand” to keep me unaware of when he actually does thr shot in my eye.

My Initial visit was a long wait. Several patients had the same appointment time. My second visit was uncall for,had to wait 48 minutes to see Dr. Khalifar to complete the retina imaging procedure after the eye pressure check. Not acceptable. My third visit was a 30 minute wait. Arrived at 12:30 and I left at 2pm and did not see Dr. Khalifar due to the number of patients with the same appointment time. His staff was nice and professional . Will not return.

I am so very grateful to have Dr. Aziz Khanifar as my eye doctor. He and his staff are always so professional and very knowledgeable. He has been my Doctor for over 6 years and each challenge that I have faced, he has been right there by my side, as a caring friend. Thank you Dr. Khanifar, you are a true blessing.

The Retina Group was very detailed in the examination of my eyes. They explained every step and made me feel very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend them for any eye concerns you might have,

I had a non-normal happening with my eyes and was able to get an appointment the next day for it to be checked out. I am already a patient of the practice, so that may have helped, but getting an appointment so quickly and getting an answer to my issue put my mind at rest.
