“The BEST post office I’ve ever been to. The team there is EXCEPTIONAL. They are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Feels like a neighborhood place. I always look forward to my visits there. Shout out to Mayra for the great service as always.”

11505 Cherry Tree Crossing Rd, Cheltenham“Robin and Ashley are fantastic! I love these ladies. They make mailing packages a pleasure. Ashley has gone above and beyond to help me out before. Hands down the best post office I've ever been to!”
“Kia is amazing. She brilliantly helped with a super urgent request with patience. She had a smile on her face and understood that I hadn’t mailed anything for a few years. Way to go!”

2 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington“This USPS location beneath the excellent Postal Museum is open on Sundays despite what is written on its entry doors. Try checking the doors on the N. Capitol Street side to enter into this USPS.”
“Normally trips to the post office are nothing to write home about. But today’s trip was different. Ms. Jackson was a pleasure to interact with. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She efficiently helped me with mailing my parcel and even took the time to enlighten me on the availability and value of stamps she had on hand. She left me with a great impression of this location.”
“Regular post office, when I came in, was there no waiting line . Servis provides nice gentlemen . I can't complain about thys place. I dont know why there is so much negative feedback.”
“I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service we received from the red-haired staff member at the post office during our recent passport appointment. Despite my husband's tardiness, she remained patient and professional, ensuring that our experience was seamless and stress-free. Her kindness and courtesy extended to my daughter as well, making us feel valued and supported throughout the process. Although I'm terrible with names, her excellent service has left a lasting impression on me. Kudos to this outstanding team member! Her dedication and warm demeanor are a true asset to the post office. Thank you again for your outstanding service, and to the rest of the staff. They were all cheerful with all customers.”
“Nothing to say but excellent service was provided by Ms.PAM , she was professional, nice and very quick. Went there with my wife and my twins for our first time passport appointment and everything was amazing, smooth process. This location is very recommended”
“This is the best post office I've been to. The regular woman who works there is great. I'm pissed today because my package was refused due to using FedEx packaging. I mean, really, who cares, so I had to cover up everything fedex and them take it back. Never have this problem with the regular person, but always with new people. 2 more things: 1) this location has always closed at 5, not 5:30 and 2) this place is a mess because of the nasty people that go in there and throw their trash everywhere but the trash can. I see strips pulled off of letters on the floor, boxes left etc etc and it's no one but these trashy customers who would never just toss their trash on there own floor. Or would they. How about we police ourselves”
“The mail service is mostly ok, but if I get more than one piece of mail in my box it's all crammed in... like folded..bent... crammed in the mailbox. There's no excuse for that!”

50 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington“Conveniently located in the basement of Union Station, in between the downstairs food court and entrance to the Metro. They were open on a Saturday morning and I was able to drop off a small package.”
“The Longworth House Office Building Post Office is quite simply the best US Post Office I have encountered anywhere. The lines move quickly, the staff is friendly and they always have an abundance of stamps and mailing supplies. Mail is dispatched in the morning and after 4:00 p,m, in the afternoon. Staff will provide a special manual cancellation if you ask for it. The post office is located in the basement of the Longworth Building, but is open to the public. You will have to go through security upon entering the Capitol complex. It is easily reached by tunnel from the Cannon and Rayburn buildings.”
“Probably one of the best on base post offices I’ve been to. Can’t speak on the other workers there but the good looking light skin lady at the front knows her stuff. She is patient with customers and they all seem to like her. The service has been quick and easy my last 3 visits.”
“I like this post office. The lady who works there is very nice, I have never had any mail lost and there is seldom a long line. I also like the selection of greeting cards that they have for sale. I noticed several negative reviews and I felt that I had to add a positive one because my experience here has always been positive. I hope yours will be too. Thanks.”
“I had two experiences at this post office. First the mean bitter women I spoke to the other day. She was very negative and spoke down to me. The very next day I was praying I didn't get her again. This young lady was so sweet how she spoke to me about my situation. I complimented her numerous times on how she made me feel and she was awesome Mrs Lee. She was very professional with her actions and tone. And explained the process to me. Nowadays people don't know what the other is going through but her interaction put a huge smile on my face. You are appreciated....”
“This is my second visit to the Accokeek Branch, in recent weeks. It was such a pleasure meeting, Ms. Hillary. She has a pleasant personality and provides great customer service. Thank YOU Hillary and thank you USPS for hiring an exceptional employee to serve our small community. ?”
“Needed 3 passports for the kids. Printed out the forms ahead of time and showed up a little early for the appointment. Staff got us right in and was very helpful getting everything processed.”
“Went here today for my passport...I thought the process would take long and be complicated but with the help of Andre one of the employees it was smooth sailing. Andre was patient, well mannered and very efficient. If your at this post office say hi to Andre. Thanks Andre”

11550 Livingston Rd, Fort Washington“I only use prepaid postage (PirateShip is your friend), so ever since they installed the self service kiosk (which happened a few months ago), I've had zero issues with this location. My issue before the kiosk was that there was/is almost always a line, but now my stops here are fast and have not had any issues. I scan my packages at the kiosk and then drop them off at the end of the counter. I'm in and out within a minute or two max.Fyi, the self service kiosk is to the left as you enter the post office.”
“The staff are always so friendly and respectful. It's a pleasure to visit this Post Office and I'm so grateful that it's my local one. There's never a long wait. Best USPS experience ever!”
9AM - 12PM
4520 Suitland Rd, Suitland-Silver Hill“Nice staff! BUT.........mail courrier delivered my package to wrong address and could not retrieve it. Couldn't replace the items in that package.
Edit 7/3/2024. Mail courier will not pick up mail from mailboxes. It takes them days to collect the outgoing mail from mail box but they will stuff more mail into same mailbox. Outgoing mail left in mailbox for days.”
“I always have an extremely positive customer service experiences whenever I come to my neighborhood post office! The hours are very wonky but that’s not the service reps fault. USPS please continue to support this post office and give them more service options and better hours!”
“Ms. Yvette provided excellent service when we renewed my son’s passport. He was bored and wanted to be in school with his friends. She was understanding and incredibly sweet with him.In addition, she was incredibly helpful with the nuts and bolts of filing the paperwork correctly and what to expect.”
9AM - 2:30PM
4806 St Barnabas Rd, Temple Hills“I had to utilize the credentialing services at this location. Mrs. Tameka and Mrs. Robin were nice and respectful to all the customers during my appointment window. Mrs. Tameka was very helpful and guided me through the entire credentialing process. I arrived early and she had me out of there with time to spare. I will definitely use this location again should the need arise.”
“As of February 12, 2022: I had a BMW rear cover to mail and the seemingly experienced staffer had no concept of customer service. She was quickly, and professionally coached on how to weigh the odd shaped package. Wow! I was impressed with Tracy the Postmaster as she not only made sure the package was correctly weighed and measured, but also polished up some much needed training of a staff member! We pay a lot of taxes in PG County so to see a government office run at a higher standard is commendable. Great turnaround at this location!”
“Very nice and helpful staff who seem to genuinely care to both help you and keep the line moving. The location does need some care from the USPS real estate department and does some renovations in the building. ...at least replace the damaged safety glass.”
“Overall, the staff has always been friendly and cooperative. I have lived in Clinton for 20+ years and have never had a bad experience there. The one exception is sometimes there is a very long line - some days are busier than others!”
