Very poor customer service! Never order online delivery! It isn't coming and as I was told by the staff(mgr) Once it leaves the store it's not our responsibility to be sure you receive it! BTW- not any better when you email corporate! The response you'll get is "sorry you had that experience". What about my $$$$? Had to dispute the charge with my bank to get a refund! Really BAD! WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AGAIN! Can't speak for the training or grooming side.

If you're going here for Vetco, good luck! First of all, it is always a chaos. No communication between the mobile unit and the store unit to direct the patients. I was told to stay in the store as they would call me, and I got the earliest appointment too. After my appointment has passed, I asked when I would be seen. The answer was...."Oh, you should line up outside to be seen" So, I was not the first one to be seen although my appointment and my check in was the first. Second of all, the professionalism of the vet assistant was rough there. Disagreement with the vet was very clearly stated in their conversation. I have been seen by this vet for years for all of my 3 dogs, and this has never happened before. As a patient, I do not need and must not know what has been going on with Vetco-Petco and the company issues. However, this was clearly vocalized by the assistant who clearly was not focused in the patient.Third, since I am a returned customer for years, my pet records must be there. Somehow, my oldest dog got the age of 16 years old while she is just 8. Prior to giving injections, I was careful enough to ask who the injections were for since I brought 2 dogs. They almost gave the injections to the wrong dog. No name to face check?! Fourth, I was told to return to the vet that I have just visited 2 months ago for flea and tick heart worm prescription. The reason I visited 2 months ago was for annual check up and prescription. Instead of giving me a year worth of prescription which typical vet does, I was only given for 1 month. Since I have to go back to the vet, I'll bring all my dogs to a different vet. I will not bring my 3 dogs back to the Vetco, especially in Clinton. Pet parents, do double check the injections name if you bring multiple dogs at a time. Good luck.

I went to Vetco ( Waldorf) to get my dogs updated shots and prescriptions for heartgard and nexgard. The Vet offered me both at the appointment and I requested a prescription instead because I get a discount from Chewy. They told me no problem the prescription will be emailed because our printer is down. I left without any documents about my visit but kept asking for reassurance of my prescription, they consistently confirmed the email was the only way to provide the prescription. Well, they did not send the prescription and after contacting their customer service team, I was told the Vet did not add the prescription to visit summary and I would need to complete another paid visit to get it. I'm very upset and feel like this was done because I didn't buy it from them. Now, I have to spend 200 more dollars to take my dogs to a vet and get another physical to get their medication. This is emotionally and financially draining. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to hold them accountable. I hope that Vet burns in ...

Great clinic.Made an appointment in advance.If it’s your first time you will go in and check in with someone in petco, they will weigh your pet, and see if you have any concerns that you would like to address.Once your pet gets the vaccines you have access to a virtual vaccination record which is very neat!

The grooming department staff is HORRIBLE. Every since the old manager left this store, it has gone downhill FAST. The grooming staff is extremely GHETTO, rude, ignorant and non-caring. It is the last place I would trust to care for my precious baby. WARNING - Please use at your own risk!!!

Petco asked me to complete a survey rating my experience, once I submitted my rating I received this from Petco. Refusing to post this to there website, I guess the truth hurts. It cannot be published to the website, but.. -- Very disappointed, Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. False advertising and horrible experience The female that checked me in was very nasty, she act if I was bothering her by bring my dogs in to be groomed, she was very unprofessional when I spoke she did not speak back it was a Black Friday special going on and they would not honor. I've been going to Petco for over 10 years, I've spent thousands of dollars there and to be treated the way I was I would never go there again. I refuse to patronize a business that do not value there customers. This experience have really force me to take my money and business somewhere else. To make the situation worse I spoke to the manager if grooming and she had the same nasty attitude I guess they think it's cute but what they fail to realize is if all the customers go else where they would be out of a job!!!after the experience with them I spoke with the store manager and he was just as bad he treated me as if I was illiterate and tried to make something up about the sale to justify why they couldn't honor their flier which was posted In there store, he refuse to give me the district manager telephone number and he refuse to call them. He then told me to call customer service in which I did stayed on the telephone with them for 45 minutes trying to get the situation rectified only to be told that it's up to the store, my thing was what's the use of me calling customer service stay on the telephone with them over 45 minutes only to be told that it's up to the store. My thing is that they false advertised according to the store manager. So if they are willing to loose thousands of dollars over $70.00 that's on them

Banjo loves it there. The people are so nice and patient, Banjo can be a little difficult at times but they know exactly how to handle him. you can tell they all love animals. it's always a joy to take him there.

We had an appointment set up for our dog to be bathed and groomed today. My appointment was booked on their website weeks in advance. My appointment was confirmed the day prior to my scheduled appointment and day of we went to drop our dog off to be pampered and the grooming salon has a sign on it that says we are closed until 3/31/21. No staff member called to say we need to book your appointment or anything. How do you guys run business? Like really you wasted my time and gas.

This was our first grooming experience with Petco but not with the groomer. We tracked Tuauna down after she left the previous company and I am so glad we found her! She is a gentle and friendly groomer and my cockapoo was happy and beautiful afterward! The check in and check out experience was smooth and went quickly with no long lines and frustration. I will be returning with my fur baby next month!

I've only been to this store a few times and initially I was impressed with their wide selection of aquatic items. The floor would often be wet and there would be boxes everywhere but besides that the man that works at the fish section was very knowledgeable. I appreciated hearing him inform other customers about how to properly care for fishes instead of allowing them to just buy whatever fish they wanted. I did a store pick up order for five items and received an email that one of the items were not available. It wasn't a big deal but when I arrived to pick up my order there were only three items in my bag. I asked the cashier whose name is Kevin about it and he told me that I'll get an email of my receipt and it'll show that I was not charged for the second item missing. The thing is, I did get an email of my receipt showing that I was charged for it and when I tried to show him the email he rudely dismissed me and spoke to me in a very condescending way about it. He actually refused to even look at my email and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. I felt really uncomfortable so I just agreed to whatever he was saying so I could leave. Fortunately, I was able to do a live chat through Petco's website and they were able to reimburse me for the purchase. I was hoping I could make this my new go-to Petco location but I think I would rather drive into Virginia for a better experience from now on.
