I am a fan of the Clinton Boys and Girls Club. I was a member of of the club back in the 80s and enjoyed every minute of it. Played on the 95 lb and 110 lb football teams. It was an important part of my upbringing and part of who I am today. The Club was founded in 1964 as a chapter of the National Boys and Girls Club and is the first in the State of Maryland to hold that distinction. They offer soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, cheerleading and my sport, football. You can do recreational leagues or travel leagues (which they did not have when I was coming up), if you so choose. They have some of the best facilities that you can find at any Boys and Girls Club in the area. The ages run from 3 to 16 years old and they have some really good volunteer coaches. The people filling those roles are not just coaches, but they are role models. Their field is located behind the Clinton Library is is a first class field that has a lighted football field with scoreboard, bleachers and elevated announcer's booth. There is also a shelter there with picnic tables under it and more than ample parking available. You will also find 3 softball/baseball fields, some soccer fields and a bunch of green space here too. The grounds are maintained pretty well and the field is closed to vehicle traffic outside of an event or practice occurring there. This is a first class organization and the fees to participate are very reasonable. I highly recommend this Club for kids. It teaches them more than just a sport as it was vital to my development of friendships, and as a person.

Much like the previous reviews, this is definitely not an organization I would suggest for families. Fortunately, the Coaches of the teams that was my son was assigned to were personable. However, The President, Latoya, was very biased, dishonest (I witnessed with my own eyes & ears) and straight up unprofessional. She was unable to separate her personal ties from the level of professionalism she owed the “business” she chose to be apart of. She blatantly ignored complaints that were brought directly to her by patronizing parents but, visibly acknowledged similar concerns immediately when it pertained to her own children. Several children, including my own, were injured while being apart of this organization. For these reasons, I would certainly not suggest them to any one with good principles and morals.

I have 6 kids involved in all kinds of sports & this is the worst organization we’ve ever been involved with. They are so unorganized & inconsiderate of the parents who paid $250 for a couple months of basketball. They didn’t have practice locations nailed down & even once they did, their contracts ended mid season & they had no plans. They also didn’t get game locations & times to us til a day or 2 before the game for the first half of the season! We’ll never be back with this league!

This organization is the worst and extremely unorganized. My child played soccer and I truly feel we got the short end of the stick when it comes to the coach we had Brittany and team mom Alexis. They do not communicate effectively and never showed up on time for games or practice if they showed up at all. Yes, there were games the coach did not show and did not inform us of her absence. The team mom was extremely disrespectful and cannot communicate well. We received uniforms mid season and even passing that out was unorganized. This was the first and last time we will be doing any sport with Clinton Jets.

I live in Clinton and I want to support my Community By having my boys playing on their team this is the worst Organization to put your kids in I had two experience with them they awful i paid for my kids to play football two days into practice the organization decided they don’t have a football team and didn’t want to give me back my money. Clinton boys and girls club show favoritism to their Soccer team. Another thing the president is very disrespectful she only thing about money and not the kids or the community
