While shopping at Aldi, I discovered a Halloween cup priced at 99 cents. After waiting in a lengthy checkout line, the cashier, who identified herself as the manager Sylvia, informed me that the cup could not be scanned to know the price. I mentioned that the price was 99 cents, but she placed the cup behind her and stated that I could not purchase it. When I inquired further, she simply wished me a good day and handed me my receipt. I then returned to the aisle, selected another cup, and stood in the long line again. I asked Sylvia if there was a manger I could speak to, to which she replied that she was the manger. I questioned the policy regarding items without a scanner and suggested that she could have checked the price after I informed her or had me go back to the isle to get a cup with a scanner. Sylvia dismissed my concerns, implying that the line was to long as if that was my fault and refused to allow me to retrieve another cup with a scanner unless I took back in the long line. Her demeanor became increasingly rude, and despite my efforts to resolve the situation, she did not offer any assistance, which was disappointing given her managerial position.

The people who work here are so rude. ESPECIALLY the managers. They don’t like to be asked for any type of help and getting a smile from them is out of the question. There are literally 3 kind people here

I been to this Aldi several times and I have never seen the cashiers throw your items to the cart i had some eggs and she just threw them and I told her don’t throw and she said I did not throw and I didn’t saw her name tag so please make sure all employees have their name tags.
