I went with my husband to this location a lovely young gentleman (I guess a new employee) help us a lot. But the manager long hair slim women was so abusive with him treating poorly. I could not stand that the way she humiliated him in front of us. That to me talks A LOT FROM HER. Even though we bought a piece of jewelry a little small by the way because I felt so bad for him that I did not want to ask more questions since he was in a very bad position and I felt pressure to buy it because she was there mistreating him. Even though she didn’t even look at us we pay cash. Horrible experience at this store I DO NOT RECOMMEND people do business with her or them not the brand don’t get me wrong, they have beautiful jewelry is just unfortunate that people like that can be abusive with others. I’ve returned the ring because I do not support that and my surprise was that the gentleman was fired. Hope he finds a better place to work with respect and support. But for this people in charge of this business no comments so disrespectful and abusive that don’t deserve to own anything.

I came to this jeweler to purchase an engagement ring and had a horrible experience with this location. Upon applying for financing I was told to wait to speak with someone on a phone call who informed me that my phone number I provided would not work when apply for financing. When prompted for another phone number, I told them I did have another phone number and gave it to them, but didn't have it on me. The representative from financing said that I would need to go and get it unless I wanted to give them a bank statement, drivers license front and back, social security card front and back AND a recent bill sent to my address with my name on it (which I don't even have as I am not a home owner and do not live alone). So I drove the 40mins back to my home and back to retrieve my phone. On the drive back I called 2 separate Kay jewelers and asked about this process and both said that they would never need for me to have my phone on my person to apply for financing. Upon returning, I went through the same process to apply for financing except I spoke with another representative who told me I would need to submit a bank statement and front and back of my drivers license. After this, I waited in the store for about 20 mins expecting to hear back from the financing company. After asking the manager how long this would take they informed me "about a couple of days". I have no idea why they would not inform me that I would have to wait days for this process as I would have left the store already and come back when my application had been approved. After waiting a day or two and talking to customer service via telephone, I apparently STILL needed to email bills with my name and address on it as well as a social security card which WAS NOT communicated to me via the second representative, so my application would have never been processed anyways! I was initially informed that if I (for WHATEVER reason) had my other phone number on me, all I would need to provide them with was a phone number. NOT my social security card, bank statements, drivers license and bills with my name and address! The most ridiculous thing about this entire process is that nowhere in these events did I need to bring my cellphone with me for verification, as the first representative and manager informed me. I did not even need financing to purchase this jewelry and have found the inconsistencies with representatives for the financing plan to be incredibly unprofessional. I will happily be taking my business elsewhere.

My Fiancé and I had an unforgettable experience with Jamie. She truly was a pleasure to work with. Jamie took her time with us and gave so much attention to our requests. She is very knowledgeable, thus ensured we made the best decision. I recommend anyone who comes to this location work with Jamie. You will not regret it!

EVERY TIME I come into this store , I am treated with disdain and rudeness. I own a few pieces from Kay's and only come to this store in Clarksburg to repair my jewelry and get my rings cleaned due a lifetime warranty. Multiple times when I have come to get a piece of jewelry repaired, I am met with attitude from the associates and told that my multiple pieces are not in the account and have to argue to get my jewelry repaired.I went in today for my bi-annual ring cleaning. I did not get the associates name but my interaction today was with an older white woman with white hair that was rude to me and would not listen when I told her that my engagement rings were under warranty. She continued to push back and ask me dumb questions until I showed her the email that showed I've been diligent on maintenance of my bands. Even after showing her the email, she continued to not believe me and ask me questions. She must of found it (she never verbally confirmed with me) because she put the order in (one of the rings is missing a stone), there was no apology or ounce of remorse for questioning me the way she did.It was unacceptable the way I have been treated throughout the time I've been at the location. I miss the Gaithersburg location as those associates were way more friendly and helpful.
