We have had 3 appointments to get a window repaired. Safelite has canceled every time (today without even letting us know they’re weren’t coming. We had to call 800 number). Their excuse every time was they didn’t have the right glass. After their first cancellation you’d think they would get the right glass. They have now had over 4 weeks to get the right glass and according to them they still don’t have it.
Very poor communication because you get an automated response or they switch you over to an 800 number with more automated response. My advice is that if you want service you are better to find another company to use

I visited this location immediately after a back windshield was shattered on a Saturday right before close. I had two children and a baby in tow and was visiting the area from out of town. They took my vehicle in the back, cleaned up all the broken glass, and secured the windshield with crash glass so we could make the trip home safely. They charged me nothing and could not have more kind.

We had Safelite repair my wife’s windshield. The repair tech didn’t install the trim properly. He also didn’t tighten the bolts that hold the windshield wiper arms on to the motors. Which caused the wipers to stop working during the storms we had due to hurricane Debbie as my wife was driving home on the highway from work in the pour rain.

They no longer replace or repair semi truck windows.

I had a lot of problems from a different location with their mobile service. The other location came out 3 times. I went in to have them fix the trim molding. I was in and out in less than 10 mins. Customer service was great at this location.

They don't really want business. I had a chip in my car windshield. They were going to come to my house to fix it. On the day before, I left work to see my chip turned into a huge crack. I called Safelite. The only way to speak to a human was to call the warrantee department. They transferred me to a human. I was told it now needed to be a full windshield repair and I needed to come it. I was offered appointments up to 4 pm. I took 2 pm on a Tuesday. On my way to the appointment I was delayed. I attempted to call the number in my text message to inform them, but was stuck in the automated phone tree of death. So, I just drove there. When I arrived, it was about 12 after 2. The gentleman was on the phone. At 2:15, it told me, "I don't know if we will still do the repair or reschedule you." he walked in the garage and came back in 2 seconds later and stated, "we need to reschedule you." I politely declined. I just don't think the people who work there want to do the work.

This one star is generous, but unfortunately zero stars is not an option. A rock chipped my windshield on 5/20 and, through my insurance, I was connected with Safelite and given an appointment for a repair on 5/22. The tech, Bob, came out to my job and "tried to cool my car down" while repairing. The chip failed to be repaired and spread. Bob said that that was the second time it happened today to him and that I would have to get it completely replaced. Due to this, I am now financially responsible for this even though this was not my fault. I was also informed that Bob told the front office at my job that I should have brought it in to the shop to fix the chip. If he knew that prior, why did he attempt to repair it? This company is a complete money grab. Harford County is a small area and I will be letting as many people as I know to not contact this company but instead support a small business with techs that actually know what they are doing.

Easy and great service experience. Scheduled an appointment online; simple and straightforward. Appointment day comes, had my windshield replaced, new windshield wipers put on, my Hyundai recalibrated and everything was done within an hour. Easy check in, easy check out. Thank you to the man at the desk and to the techs. in the shop.

Safelite uses cheap glass replacement. I had them replace the window on my Range Rover and they replaced it with a cheap $100 window. When I traded it, the dealer said they should not have done that, it was supposed to be replace with the same Range Rover glass. Took my value down.

Very hard to get ahold of a real person. Calls go to call center.

Fast and friendly service. Very pleasant staff. If you need glass replace your glass I recommend here.
