My family and I come here every year, and turn this into a Seasonal tradition. This is def. way out left field for me and at first, I wasn't really into it, but seeing the enjoyment in my kids face, and just spending quality time together away from the electronics has given a change of heart. I support this farm and would love to do some collaborative events with them in the future.

After years of good service and fruits they both have changed. I purchased 1/2 bussel of peaches plus other fruits and vegs. When I unpacked the peaches I was shocked at what I had paid for. I called and explained to a young man the problem and he said he would talk to his boss and call me back. He did so within 20 mins. stating that they could do nothing. Now out of 1/2 bussel there were 2 peaches that were not bad. I added 2 photos to show what they sold. The single peach is what the seed is suppose to look like, not black with bugs. Plus this trip is 45 mins for me one way. $20 is not going to break me, but they have lost a long time customer.

Stopped today and got the most delicious blueberries and various other things. I also scored free delicious granola and a dip mix. Such nice people and great produce!

Lohr's Orchard has become our #1 destination for Upick. Following their Facebook page will keep you up to date on available picking times and how to reserve. A very well cared for farm with high quality produce you can also buy at their store. Prices are a bit higher, but their fruit is the sweetest you'll ever taste. So far, my family has picked strawberries and cherries here, and we'll definitely be back again for peaches and apples later in the year.

My experience: I had a great time going out to the farm and picking our own apples. Keep in mind you are outdoors with nature, so you will run into hornets, bees etc. while picking, because they feast on them. However, they wont bother you if you are careful not to disturb them. You see them just move to another tree.Great food selection and a lot of local food products. Look at my photos for more detail. They even have cider slushy on the menu.Money side: The cost of picking apples is more than buying in the store. So keep that in mind. There is a flat fee of 10 or so dollars to pick the apples plus 2 dollars per pound up to a certain weight. After you hit a target weight it goes down to 1.5 per pound. Buying a empty bag onsite to pick apples is 2 dollars so I would bring your own box or bag to save on that cost. Cider is 7 dollars per gallon and I drank a half gallon in one day so 6 really good. For cost I give it $$$ out of 5.

Very small pumpkin patch— there was no pick up to and from the patch, so we had to carry heavy pumpkins to the register to pay. My pumpkin started to rot within a week— could not even carve it. Thought maybe this was a one-off but the rest of my group experienced the same thing. Will not be returning… prefer Brad’s.
