I Just saw a worker assaulting a customer! After the customer said she had money and had no reason to steal. This was a terrible and traumatic experience for me to see there were children and women there. There are no fitting rooms for you to even try on the clothes? and they are final sale so customers trying on the clothes shouldn’t surprising for you employees at all ! This lady should be ashamed of herself and she should had handle the situation differently! I will never come back to this location again. Employees should be trained to recover the items from customers or call local authorities never NEVER ASSAULT !!! I hope the girl that was hurt is okay because this should have never of happened!

I got assaulted by a worker by the name of Orozco Hernandez, Abril cause she thought I was gonna steal. I was gonna record her cause of how she treated me and she began to assault me in-front of everyone. I grew up shopping at this thrift store. This thrift store was my entire childhood. I shop here with friends and family. I even donated a lot of stuff to this location mainly on baby stuff because there are a lot of family’s who comes to this certain location who are low incomes and are on poverty. So it’s good to know that these stuff could go to them if needed. The employee who assaulted me is 21 years old and she fighting with teenagers who didn’t even steal or walked out with the items. My phone was has crack while she fighting me and she needs to grow up. May god find her some peace ?

Good selection of books. They're a little more expensive than I'm used to in other parts of the country.Cover Price up to $6.94 = $2.49 ea.Cover Price $6.95 to $9.94 = $2.99 ea.Cover Price $9.95 and up = $3.49 ea.That's the pricing scheme unless otherwise listed. Many prices are listed on the sticker. However, buy 4 books and get the 5th one free is a good deal.

I like to thrift. I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by, to get a look. First of all, if you're going realize there is construction, massive pot holes, dips, pits, broken lights in the neighborhood. My brother in law lives about 3 miles away from this location. I visited 4 years ago and the "construction" has had little to no progress. Just be aware and add 15-20 extra minutes to your ride. The whole area is a mess. The store is huge. Lots of people, lots of different items if you're looking to thrift for clothes, housewares and other items for the house. I was shopping for clothes, particularly jeans. The selection is big but hard to find your way through. Most clothing stores hang from the top (the waist) these folks hang from the side (??). Jumbled sizes made looking difficult. A 40x30 pair hanging next to 32x30. I moved on to shirts, flannel and otherwise. Same jumbled mess of sizes. Lots of colors, styles and prints. If you're looking for something different at a good price and you can find it, this is your store. After a while I gave up looking and went exploring the rest of the store. Lots of stuff if you're moving in or looking for a change. Then it was back to the potholes and disastrous endless construction. No good pictures to take as the lighting isn't the best inside.

The workers that are putting clothes on the racks are extremely RUDE!! All of them! And shoes that are DONATED FOR FREE!!! The ones that look ok are now behind the counter for almost $40 or more !!!! Unbelievable. They said they are a non-profit company but is a LIE !!! Even fake purses are prices more than $299 lol ?

Back to reality and me attempting to find quirky pieces for my new apartment. I am one that would rather browse through a good thrift store to find something to reuse than buy new. Especially since my taste is eclectic and I don't mind that nothing matches that I have.I am in need a few items that aren't necessary but would allow for my apartment to finally function correctly. I came here in hopes of finding said items and was left a bit down. It's not entirely their fault as what they have for purchase all depends on what they have donated. I did take my time in their furniture area in hopes of finding something to take home, but it was fruitless. I ended up browsing a few other areas in here in hopes of finding different things, but I wasn't lucky in the least this day.I do enjoy how huge this place is. They do offer a lot of things if you have the time to browse. Like, you might need the whole day to come in here and just go over everything. The biggest thing I didn't like about this spot was the parking lot. Given that they are doing roadwork right outside on the main drag, this might be alleviated in the near future (or however long it takes the state to complete the ongoing roadway improvements).

I really like this thrift store. But I feel extremely uncomfortable in the parking lot. When I arrived, a man in a mask was walking around cars, looking inside. Then once in the store, I noticed a woman following me - and I shopped for around 2 hours and she was still watching me when I was checking out. She only had one thing in her hands, after two hours… and I felt as though she was a part of some trafficking situation. I then made sure to be on the phone when walking back to my car. There was a running car parked right next to mine, with two people watching me. I proceeded to rush into my car and make it known that I noticed them.Extremely unsafe situation and will unfortunately not be returning to this store. The thrift is great, but if you are a female alone, I would not go.

An absolute delight. It’s more clean, curated and thoughtfully staffed than your average run of the mill thrift.

I enjoy coming to this store. It's a good source for ethnic textile, pottery, and other kinck-knacks. The pricing could improve.

What can I say besides, there are always gems to be found at Value Village. I donate really high quality children's clothing here and I feel like the good thrifting energy comes back to me lol. I've gotten a great pair of Levi's that I then turned into shorts, a North Face vest, graphic tees, overall high quality stuff. Also, another trick is that if you go on a Monday, everything is 25% off, who doesn't like to save extra?! I've also gotten some good toys because we know kids can go through some toys or develop beyond particular toys relatively quickly. The only unfortunate thing here is that sometimes there may be a person in the front asking for change etc. Overall, Value Village is the place to come to if you have an open mind and maybe a little imagination too. Happy thrifting!!

How can you be in business and lock the door 7 mins before closing. It's 8:54 and the door is locked and person saying we're closed...people still inside shopping.....wow...it's always something...

Some items are priced too high. Customers are sometimes snubbed and laughed at. Attendants at the checkout counter are sometimes disrespectful and condescending towards customers…At times one of the managers is sometimes dismissive and those hanging the clothes sometimes pushes through customers to hang clothes on the racks without asking to be excused.. I sometimes donate to the store , I think I’ll donate elsewhere, the disrespect is not worth it. I tried asking one of the managers a question about an item, she totally ignored me and walked away…Staff should be trained to treat customers like human beings…

This place exceeded my expectations. I was thrilled leaving here with all of my awesome finds. It was clean, organized, and had a ton of quality items. Great prices and the folks I interacted with that worked there were super friendly. This will be my new spot for thrifting in the DMV!
