There is never a time that I have gone to this USPS and was assisted by anyone without be given an attitude. Not once. They are rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. As soon as you walk in, you definitely are bothering them And they make sure you know it!

Really rude staff member at this location; I came by right around opening time on a Monday with a box already addressed and ready to go for a return item I needed to send. I was trying to keep the cost as low as possible (because it was a return!) so I asked the lady if would have been cheaper for me to use a bubble mailer instead of the box I had used. She gave me some non-answer like "I wouldn't know unless I weighed it" (duh--I was obviously moreso asking in her experience hypothetically if that would've been cheaper so I'd know for future visits perhaps it's better to just use their bubble mailers instead of trying to recycle boxes I have at home). And then, to just really make matters worse, she asked me "have you never been to the post office before?" At first I thought I misheard her, so I asked her if she could repeat herself. But nope--she literally asked me that. I could not believe how rude and unnecessary the attitude was. I'm 32 years old and have been to the post office (albeit other locations) throughout my 32 years. I couldn't even think of an appropriate response and just said no blankly. (In retrospect, I wish I had a sassy response.)I understand that she could've been having a bad day, but you don't need to pass that onto paying customers. It was first thing on a Monday and just a really bad way to start the day/week. I wish I had spent the extra $8 and just shipped out of FedEx instead like I first had planned on. Will not be returning to this location and someone should speak to this staff regarding customer service.

I missed a signature-required delivery while away, they (staff at this location; fifteen minutes before close, at that) were super cordial and apologetic that it was taken for delivery again after I’d requested to pick it up, and they were very forthcoming and transparent about when it would be delivered so that I could make it home in time to receive it. They even called the delivery driver to see if the package would be dropped off or taken back on that business day, “just so you know what to expect.” I couldn’t ask for better customer service.

if i could give 0 stars i would. i arrived at the postal office at 12:50 in need of buying stamps, and the moment i arrived there the lights were off and the two ladies working there completely ignored me when i asked them for help. i asked again, and one of the ladies yelled at me aggressively. i told them i arrived on time, and they ignored and said “our system is already down”. i am so disappointed considering we are a family that lives in the village, and received this type of service. on top of that, what store closes 10 minutes beforehand? might as well put 12:50 closing time instead of 1 on the website.

No line, helpful & informative clerks ? The postal lady recognized I was shipping a passport & kindly let me know that I could send it via a cheaper method, and showed me where to write notes on the box. The building is well-cared for & located in a leafy, idyllic neighborhood. Staff were all very nice ?

Maybe I got lucky but I started coming here after giving up with the queues at the post office on Connecticut in DC. Both times the queues were very short and the staff were courteous and professional. Plus they had stamps! The DC one was sold out....

It is unacceptable to be so rude, impolite and make the customer feel like an idiot! This is not the first time, I have the feeling to bother the clerks, with almost zero consideration and no patience to explain the options and services.Really bad experiences, the manager should consider positive mindset training for the team and implement client satisfaction indicators.

I have never seen a long line at this location but the service is on the slow side and some of the clerks are unhelpful sometimes.

Has anyone been able to pick up their PO Box key? Ive tried three times during normal business hours and the POC who handles this is never there. I was provided with a phone number to call her-- there was no answer. I am disappointed because I paid for this PO Box in full online but no efforts are being made to provide me with a key. My PO Box rental started in July. We are now in October and I still do not have access.

I would like to give it zero stars. Again, on Sat morning, they were not open at 9 am. And still not open at 10 am. Don't go there in the mornings. There is a good chance it will not be open on time. I am sure the employees however are getting paid. The worst.

Customers pay for bad office morale The staff at this location has recently changed; the tension between employees is so thick you could cut it with a knife; they are all miserable. I have been there repeatedly for low-value stamps (1,2 and 5 cents) and they do not have any. The manager made it clear that he will order them when he will get around to it, which is nowhere near soon. As a former federal worker, it makes me sick to my stomach to see the public being served so poorly. I will even go to the Tenleytown PO which is a much longer walk, but what about the neighborhood elderly residents who do not have a choice? You should be ashamed of such service.
