Careful when parking here! My friend went into the store for about 20 minutes (and they didn't have anything of what he was looking for) and came out to find a parking violation notice on his car (over $50!!!) They have some kind of new system where you have to pay first before parking with AirGarage, there's no signs warning you of this.

I only frequent the Mens cologne area. The staff are always helpful, sometimes to the point of annoying, but they back off if let them know. They always have a good assortment of Colognes, but nothing like Harrods in London or Printemps Haussmann in Paris.

Beautiful store. I just don't have a trust fund to patron this luxury label boutique. I need to buy a lottery ticket.

My husband and I worked with Liz Bobbitt as our personal stylist, and she truly cannot be matched. She outfitted us for day-to-day wear, as well as for numerous social events and even our wedding weekend. She has an unparalleled eye when it comes to both what fits and flatters your body, and all you need to do is show up and try on. She also is cognizant that we can't spend our *entire* incomes on clothes alone; she'll pull from sales and regular sections alike to perfectly outfit you for a season. I highly recommend the experience!

This store has gone downhill...and to make it even less appealing parking has a new wrinkle...you have to pay first and then later get a release to park free. I did not do that and came back to find a parking violation from airgarage.com. The QR Code did not work either and it took me half an hour to get it all straightened out so I would not have to pay $54. Not exactly the parking friendly place that it is supposed to be. Additionally, all online returns are only in the basement, no Children's Department, and no Eileen Fisher items (only at Tyson's). Attentive staff...but then again there was also an absence of customers.

Saks in Chevy Chase is a throwback to a more genteel era. Stores like this used to have snooty reputations but nowadays I always find the staff very friendly and welcoming. While the standalone men's store across the District line is now sadly gone, the third floor is now the men's department and has just a good of a selection as the old store. What I like about Saks compared to Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdales is that Saks still has a top notch, high quality private label collection of menswear basics. In addition, their sales can be great, especially on the private label clothes. The new parking lot arrangement is very odd. When you park you have to scan a QR code, pay for parking, and then Saks can give you a discount code inside that makes it free. It's a lot of steps for what used to be just handing over a validation ticket. Given that the clientele here skews quite old, I can't imagine this change has gone over well. If you are a regular customer, your sales associate can register your plate and then you don't need to go through this whole rigamarole each time.

A beautiful store with excellent service. If you are looking for high end merchandise, then look no further. The variety of handbags is second to none. There is Louis Vuitton purses, Valentino, Steve McQueen, and more. The make up section is phenomenal. There is every brand you can imagine and each brand is well stocked with merchandise and people to help you get what you need. The clothing is top notch and extremely well made and fashionable. The only reason I took off one star is the prices. You pay for the service and selection. So, if there is a hard to find make up item or you are ready to splurge on a beautiful purse, this is the place to go.

Rome was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was helpful in selecting items that are timeless but in trend. Outstanding experience.

This spot is ideal for staff enthusiasts. The staff is friendly and attentive, which is expected given the expenses. Generally, it's a positive experience and worth a visit. I deducted one star due to the high prices, but it's recommended for those with the means

My jacket accidentally got wet by lunch, quick stop by getting a new jacket. And taking some pictures there. Great place and a nice one on one service.

Their way of handling their parking lot is a scam. I was there for an in and out kind of business and I was made scan the QR code -which I have a problem with- and put in my personal (including the cc) info all for a zero balance stay. I won’t go back and find a place to complain. They shouldn’t be able to collect and store all that information for zero balance. It’s infuriating.

Horrible store....I am an elderly African American male who recently visited the Saksoff5th location in Wash., DC....off E Street NW on Sunday. I was with my daughter and I am 66 years of age. I asked one of the associates to use the restroom, who directed me to the bathroom however it had a do not use sign on it....I waited and watched two people use the bathroom, so I assumed it was okay to use it. Afterwards, while walking to the front of the store.....the store manager approached me with one of the guys who used the restroom previously in tow....She yelled at me stating didn't I see the sign and asked if i could read...I informed her that her employees directed me to use the bathroom and I watched 2 other use it....she yelled at me that they were employee's...even though neither she not they had any employee identifying identification or uniforms...i suggested that if this were the case then they shoukd identify themselves as employees....she stated that she was an employee with no Identification, so whats the difference.. she made no sense and instead of correcting the issue, she yelled at me in front of other customers and my 27 year old daughter....if she is miserable about providing customer service or just being civil to customers... then she should find another job.....she does not have the right to yell at customers especially a grown man...and not think they won't respond....during this time, one of the guys who used the bathroom previously stepped up and held his hands up .. apologetically.....my daughter did all she could not to respond even though your manager was disrespectful in her approach as well as her tone. She was confrontational and embarrasingly unprofessional...... she apparently is the store manager.. and if she decides to close the bathroom to the public, but allow her staff to use them....then she needs to inform all of her staff since I was directed to the bathroom by one of them ....the service here was horrible and severely lacking in simple customer service. I will never step foot in this store again.....i feel that their stores have no mechanism to hear customers complain....just check the website....the "contact us" link only focuses on returns and exchanges....when did customer service cease to become part of their strategy in the communities in which they operate.....
