Visited for the first time today and was excited to find several really great adult Halloween costumes for just $15 each. The volunteer staff was kind and helpful, and they seemed happy to be there. I spent about half an hour looking through all the interesting wares, which were good quality and priced much lower than 8 expected. Great Job, Opportunity Shop.

FYI-This shop is still requiring face masks to shop in the store. Today with only 4 people in the store & Only 2 customers in the store the volunteer insisted I put a mask on. The other volunteer behind the counter had no mask. Another customer chimed in that 300 people a day are dying from the pandemic. The Maryland gov lifted any mask mandate in Feb 2022 for municipal and earlier than that for private businesses. Before I left I saw a Singer 99 sewing machine for $99. A pricey shop and no free parking available. The street is resident permit parking only and the public parking lot meters cost $2.30 per hour.

Great little thrift shop. It’s a little pricey relative to a chain like a goodwill, but they will keep and sell MUCH higher quality items, so that’s what your getting — more nice old jacket than cool t-shirt, if that makes sense. Their sweet spot is home decor (art, china, bric a brac, kitchenware, lighting); the biggest miss for me is that they don’t offer much in the way of stereo equipment or LPs.

Changes are always in 'store' which means you may actually find what you are searching for on the shelves. I shopped here as a child with my Mother, and have supported OP Shop efforts as a volunteer. Visit! It's good fun.

My Mom and I love this store. Since discovering it just a month ago we've been several times. We are always on the hunt for previously loved serve ware and tea cups. Beautiful selection of housewares with great prices!

It would be nice to be able to visit without having to listen while some volunteer ladies badmouth each other behind their back, or badmouth clients who just called in. Also, this is a Thrift Store, but some of the prices make you wonder whether it's a would-be Antique Store. On the plus side, the book selection is very good and I've picked up many very interesting books there. Definitely one of the best places I've found for second-hand books.

I visited the store today and the people who run the store are super sweet. They are also super covid conscious. I was able to buy a very nice baking/casserole dish from them today. And as a student in the area their prices are very friendly to my budget. I highly recommend going.

OPEN ONLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY during COVID season. The staff was very nice but I didn't know I had to make an appointment when I showed up.

Eclectic, you can find almost anything if you keep looking. And lots of fun. During the Covid pandemic they are holding open-air fairs in front of the shop. Same good stuff at excellent prices!

When this thrift shop is open you can purchase fantastic bargains. It is also a rewarding place to volunteer your efforts.
