Hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a Brooks Brothers. I waited for more than 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged by a single team member. When I was able to finally start working with someone to size me for a number of shirts, she was constantly leaving to do something else. I had to leave the fitting room to track her down in the store to look at the fit. After the third time trying to find her, I just put the shirts down and left. I will continue to shop at Brooks Brothers, but never again at this location.

On July 4th , which happens to be my birthday, my partner wanted to buy me a present. We called this store for the store hours on July 4th. A lady informed us 7pm. We arrived at this store around 5:56pm There were other customers in the store also at the front cash register where a lady cashier was helping them. Since I wanted a specific tie, Navy and burgundy stripes, we headed towards the table where ties are kept. In no time I found the tie, but I had a question. There was another young lady at this second counter. While I was talking to the young lady, the woman fromthe first register came running and yelling at us "register closes in 3 minutes" interrupting my inquiry. She said it so rudely as if we were not welcomed there. My partner felt so embarrassed that she wanted to leave immediately without completing the purchase. As walking towards the exit, I mentioned to the first woman that we were told that store would be opened until 7pm. She shrugged and replied , yet rudely, " I don't know who told you that?"There was another family with the kids in the store. This woman won't even look at us while yelling. I have been BB customer for a long time and have it's credit card too. On top of that I was even wearing a polo with BB logo during this embarrassing episode. I would not have expected this type of customer service from BB. Don't think I will ever shop BB again or even wear their logo clothing ( which I have many) again to avoid the memories of this bad experience on my Birthday! In addition, there doesn't seem to be any place to file a complaint on BB website anywhere!

No AC in June. The cashier was very rude. She talked to me like I owed her money… will not shop here again.

the clothes are stylish though the quality continues to decline. the worst thing about chevy chase store are returns. best to order online. that's why retail is dying because of bad customer service which you don't have to deal with when you buy online,

Horrible costumer service , was ignored, bring my items to the register and still being ignored !! The lady at the register obviously doesn’t care , had no manners and simply shouldn’t be in costumer serviceWe all deserve to have a bad day , but taking it to this level , isn’t acceptable.

What can I say about Brooks Brothers? Since there was a little girl my father was confined to a wheelchair. He was raised in Manhattan and had a very particular and peculiar way of thinking and dressing. He was very frugal but all his clothes came from Brooks Brothers be it his pajamas to his socks. When the shop in Chevy Chase opened my father was so happy. I would drive him there about once every two or three years. And he would stock up on his pajamas and other small items. He really had to buy new clothes because as I said he wasn't a wheelchair and not particularly active. But always appropriately dressed. One of my best stories about Brooks Brothers is as my father aged he developed more and more idiosyncrasies probably because he was confined to a wheelchair. One of his fears was when he was in a vehicle being driven by someone else he was terrified of making left hand turns. So I mapped out a way to get from our house, about 2 miles at most from Brooks Brothers making only right hand turns. And then I had to map out a way to come home using only right hand turns. It was an adventure but it's soothed his soul.

Had a suit fitted for an upcoming wedding and it was actually ready for pickup a bit early and fit like a glove! Good service and great products.

I have been shopping at this store for over 35 years. It is a gem. It’s easy to park and it’s quick to get in and out. The service has always been excellent. So much easier than other Brooks Brothers locations

DEFECTIVE $250 Dress at Brooks Brothers. I was walking by Brookes Brothers in Chevy Chase and saw a dress in the window. I bet the friend I was visiting that it was $250 to $300 (Amazon $25). we were staying at the Marriott next door (world class staff, cheap a** manager, worst Marriot we've ever stayed in.). I walked by the dress several times and went in to enquire about the price. $250, they didn't have my size. Phew. Griffin offered to check if it was on sale, ordered my size and had it shipped to Arizona. SHOCKED. I found the only polite, smart young person in D. C. HE IS UNDER EMPLOYED. I received the dress. DEFECTIVE IN SIZE 16. I called Griffin. He said that BROOKS BROTHERS would do NOTHING and was extremely apologetic. All I could do was Post a review. BROOKS BROTHERS ONLY MAKES UGLY CLOTHES FOR SKINNY, ANOREXIC, ALCOHOLIC WOMEN WHO VACATION IN MARTHA'S VINEYARD.
