I have been a customer of many banks over the past few years, and the PNC Bank in Chester MD is by far the best bank I have ever been a customer of. I have visited this bank almost every day over the past 2 years and I have never had a bad experience. All of the tellers are extremely professional and always have a smile on their face. They always move quickly even with multiple customers in line, and never make mistakes. Every employee goes out of their way to be a genuinely great person to every customer and it is much appreciated.

Horrible company. Trying to close an estate account for years. no follow up sends wrong documents never does what promised we have waited so long to close an estate account that we had to go back and renew estate paperwork in the middle of all of their incompetence. Now we have to pay for another year of estate accounting because they wont close the account and give these funds to the estate. Not one phone call has ever been returned. PNC gives a whole new definition to how bad customer service can be IN ANY INDUSTRY. Do your clients a favor and tell them to take their accounts elsewhere - so you can just go out of business!!!

Bank made error on our Mobile deposit. Called local bank, they were unable to help. said go nline to customer service and file dispute. Wrong information given. You can only dispute debit card , not accounts. Had to call 888 number ,still unresolved

I just wanted to thank Ashley catterton at PNC bank in Chester md ! My card has been compromised and money has just been flying out of my account and right before Christmas when I need it the most and after calling the customer service line 5/6 times and getting no help or answers at all I decided to just call my local branch and talk to them . Me being Frantic and crying Ashley was extremely sympathetic,helpful, understanding and patient with me And in a matter of mins answered my questions and helped me figure things out . I’m so grateful for the help she gave me today ! She deserves major praise for how fast and efficiently she helped me figure things out . I will stay with PNC bank based on how wonderful she was today ! Thank you again Ashley I appreciate it more then you know !

Used to love this bank but I use the drive thru for business and they are very under staffed. The poor tellers (usually only 1 at lunchtime?) alternate from counter to drive thru making a long wait for those on the clock. We are considering switching banks due to the lengthy wait time. However, the staff is very apologetic and kind. It is no fault of the tellers by any means.

I rarely write reviews; however, the experience I had today was disappointing and uncharacteristic of PNC. As a 15 year PNC customer, I was told over the phone that I should come to the bank to change my name and they’ll take care of me. I arrived at 11:25, and both folks at the counter barely made eye contact with me and said they didn’t have the ability/access to make the change. I wasn’t told over the phone that I’d need an appointment or that I’d need to speak to a specific person. I said I’d wait for the gentleman capable of the change. Neither of them notified him that he had a customer waiting. I ended up waiting until noon and my patience ran out. This gentleman had been bantering with customers in his office for over 30 minutes. Disappointing customer service, PNC. I will be going to another branch.

My Go-To Branch location on the Shore. COVID19 ATM and drive thru is available. If you need to sit down with an agent, you must make an appt. Call when you are outside to be let into the building. Worked with Ashley C. She was super nice, attentive and personal. A woman by the name of "Lydia or Lavonda" was also super helpful, she was the one who actually set up my appointment. I was able to make an appt for the next day.

This bank has the best, most helpful staff that I've ever experienced. Banks and I don't usually don't agree about my best interests. At first, using other banks, I am offered many great rates and services but within a year's time, these rates and services have changed without notice. And the problems just grow. The staff here will listen with a patient attitude. They will not let me leave until I am satisfied and understand whatever problem brought me in the bank, leaving me better prepared for money management as I go on. I haven't had anything but friendly and effective assistance from every person at this branch since 2012. Outstanding. I appreciate the people here who seem to enjoy helping people manage their money and will find answers to even the most complex situations.

use to be a great bank , but all good staff has left. Kelly was always great and very helpful as were the rest of the staff. Now no manger and its awful. go to another branch.
