Bought a cruise for my mother. Beautiful day - sunny and mid-70s for a cruise - but M/V Breeze decided to cancel day-of due to not enough people. First, M/V Breeze contacted us two days prior and *confirmed* the cruise. Second, the cancellation policy says they will give 48 hours notice, but may cancel day-of due to poor weather. Granted, buried in their policy they claim to reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason, but it’s poor customer service to do so last minute, especially on a beautiful day for a lame reason. Highly disappointing. I doubt many people are booking cruises in the fall out of Chesapeake City, so I would expect M/V Breeze to expect this and accommodate those who do. I will not be re-booking due to M/V Breeze’s unpredictability (the weather is gorgeous) and last-minute cancellation, especially after confirming.

We had a great time. Jeff (the Captain) and Mary (the bartender) were great. Very knowledgeable about the area. It was nice to see some wildlife too. Jeff even pulled up close so we could see an eagle nest along the river edge. Love to come back sometime and do the happy hour cruise during the week sometime. Didn’t even realize the boat had a full bar. What a nice surprise!

Canceled it a day before the trip I booked for my wife's birthday. Sad thing is I inquired about the cancelation policy to avoid this happening. Was told weather or mechanical not low sales

We had a great trip and our captain was excellent, she had a great attitude and not only stopped to tell us details about the canal but also made sure we were Abe to get beautiful photos of the sunset. I highly recommend taking the sunset cruise on this boat in particular.

We did the afternoon cruise from 4-6pm. The captain was excellent and his first mate Olivia was attentive and pleasant checking on us on a regular basis to see if we wanted a drink and to make sure we were having a good time. The cruise was very relaxing and the captain’s commentary about the area, the canal and the wild life were great. We were able to see eagles and several Osprey nest which was “icing on the cake?”

This is one of the most well kept Hampton inns I have stayed in very clean and the lady who serviced the breakfast area does a great job. This is a well managed hotel.

I've gone on this cruise a few times & had fun but when trying to book a private tour I had a horrible experience. I called several times, sent a chat message, emailed for a couple months with no response at all. There's no reason for that... call me back, just don't leave someone waiting when I should be making other plans. Jerks!!

We did a private sunset cruise for our rehersal dinner. Lauren, our captain was so fun and energetic! Crew cleaned up everything for us afterwards, which was so nice and unnecessary! Highly recommend this crew to give you a safe, relaxing evening on the water!

Lauren and Katie were fantastic. The boat was roomy enough to move around and the cash bar options were excellent plus kids drink options! Would definitely do again.

I'm giving M/V Summer Breeze a 5 star rating and we didn't even get to go on the boat tour! We had to cancel our reservation due to someone in our group coming down with Covid-19. M/V Summer Breeze's cancellation policy is clearly noted while making the reservation so I knew it was less than 48 hours when I had to cancel. I was hoping that they would credit me for a future tour. Steven C. went Above and Beyond replying to my email and wished my friend a speedy recovery and refunded me the total for all 3 tickets. I can't wait to reschedule with M/V Summer Breeze in the near future! Excellent customer service!
