I am a relative newcomer to the area and will not give you a biased local yokel review where someone is a cousin, sister, wife to the manager of the store. This store is terribly mismanaged and the staff are all unbelievably slow and inept at the job of putting away stock. I am not going to review based on the attitudes of the staff, nobody in retail is terribly happy. I am reviewing on two basic essentials: Inventory and safety. The store never has any inventory (stock) on the shelves not even the basic essentials. You would be hard pressed to find medicine for you or your children on the shelf during cold and flu season or even not during cold and flu season. As far as safety goes, there is a number of outdated expired items on the shelf that didn’t just go bad yesterday but sometimes a few years ago! Oh, and the staff routinely blocks the aisles and emergency doors with U-boats of unworked product! What happens if there is an emergency or if a young child cuts themselves on the metal U-boats? Please do yourself a favor and go to a different DG. This local store will never be anything better until the staff learns to pack out product and the Manager is let go.

This is a very convenient DG. But as we’re going well into 2 years of you know what - work shortage - fair pay - seems there is no one to put away the stock. I could barely shop and get what I needed.

The employees are always miserable. I’ve stopped going as much, I’d rather go to Middletown for friendly customer service than to continue to have ignorant attitudes.
