I am a medical patient and I used to go to Ash and Ember regularly. Now, they seem to be catering to the recreational clients. It is next to impossible to get the tincture that I use to buy for sleep. Tomorrow, I will have to go across the bridge to get what I need. Very frustrating. The medical patients used to keep this place in business.

The employees who work here are always willing to work and have a smile on their faces. I love going there at least 2 times a week . The prices aren't to bad . The only thing I don't like is that you don't get points for what you buy like most the other dispensarys.

Although the staff is usually friendly I’ve been having issues every visit lately. At first, my name was incorrect on their end so they couldn’t scan my ID despite my name being correct on their site, through Jane and on the pre-order receipt. They corrected it and I figured it was a one off thing.
Next visit my order is lost/misplaced. The following visit, they have someone else’s pre-order in with mine and try to charge me for both. This most recent visit I pre-ordered for a total of $87.20, went to pickup and was told my total was $109 something. Despite my order on their site stating the lower total they refused to honor the price.
I would be sure to check your information, order and total at each visit.

Purchased online from Ash + Ember. The item came in defective. It was corregated steel that excessively rusted in one specific spot after the first rain (it's still rusted exactly as it was many rains later). In case you're wondering, this spot did not hold water, nor could it. I was told that it was not defective but that it was a cosmetic issue . I was told they couldn't replace that part of the item but would need to send a whole new unit instead. I knew this would be a hassle, so instead, i asked for a decent discount (I could then properly treat the steel myself and not feel jipped). They wouldnt offer me a fair discount, so i asked for the until to be replaced. They then told me that the entire unit was on back order, and they had no scheduled shipments coming in. I told them that i would wait. They responded that i would have to pay the return shipping and a restocking fee since the item wasn't "defective." but had a cosmetic issue. They offered me a measly 15% off. All the while, I received emails saying the unit was in stock and on sale. They also listed the item as in stock on their website for 2 weeks after my delivery. In summary, they wouldn't replace my defective part, wouldn't replace the unit without charging me a bunch of money, and didn't offer me anywhere near a satisfactory discount. I am in business for myself, and I don't treat people this way. However, I've been in business for 35 years, and have never done a single online deal. You can't make money on every deal. Sometimes, they go sideways, and you need to eat it for customer satisfaction. I'm not impressed with Ash + Embers customer service whatsoever. I would be willing to listen to an apology and an offer to make it right. If this review is still up, then Ash + Ember never actually tried.

Been coming here pretty much since yall opened. I'm just here to echo the downhill trend. Minimal options for strains and always at high prices. Sales are barely sales. I've started driving the extra distance elsewhere for more options and cheaper prices.... which I'm sad about. Yall have always been great but the past year every visit has been less and less satisfying.
Get on par with the other local dispensaries please! Would love to go back to weekly support instead of every other month.

Update 2: Well, they've implemented a system where pre-order is prioritized over everything, and I cant do that. No one knows why either, the confirm order button randomly greys out for me. I'm fine though, the main reason I'm lowering the rating is that I've sat next to elderly medical patients waiting to be seen while there are open registers being held for pre-orders. I guess it speeds thing up but...doesn't seem right.
Update: I no longer have my medical card, but I stand by this original review.
I’m posting this to counter the review condemning them for prioritizing Medical Card carriers.
I know y’all recreational consumers wanna smoke, got it, I need to treat my PTSD. You can wait.

This dispensary is a rip off. Everytime we go we have an issue and the staff insists that my prescription is expired despite me showing proof that it is not. The staff is rude and refuses to correct their mistake. I haven’t had this issue at any other dispensary in the state and I suspect they don’t care to correct it so they can continue to charge me the recreational pricing. Just drive the extra 25 minutes to Gold Leaf for way better quality, deals and no issue with my unexpired prescription or license.

5 star service, plenty of parking conveniently located. Store is very clean, well lit, staff is superb! Very large menu and prices are very reasonable.
