I am sick the Rite Aid closed in ingleside shopping center. The Walgreens across the street is a joke. I was in a long line , and two employees were bullshitting behind the counter. There are A LOT of businesses in Catonsville that are crap because the people around here don't want to work. The BEST pharmacy around is in Sam's Club

The app was telling me to contact the pharmacy, which I did. I was on hold for an hour before they told me that they were out of stock and they weren’t accepting any new patients for that medication. I’m switching to the Catonsville Pharmacy. Would recommend going there instead.

The pharmacy staff is a little lack luster. They are usually understaff (so the wait feels eternal) Some of the technicians are a little disrespectful (not all a few) but level of service is a stark difference that one up the street (near Rolling Road). Not bad but not good either. The order of inprovement is paramount.

So I go in to pick up a prescription with my temporary Club Card Member number because, after 4 weeks, they haven't sent me my card yet, and the genius working the window can't figure out how to enter it into the system. She tells me I need to return home and print out my "entire email" because she can't access my "account information." So I return home, waste my paper and ink and gasoline, and when I return to the store, after cooling my heals for several minutes, the pharmacy manager tells me the girl didn't know how to enter the number into the system and that she had shown her how to do it. Well, DUH! It never occurred to Dr. Einstein's sister to actually ASK someone how to do it? This ain't rocket surgery, folks. Then, when I got home, I called up customer service to find out where my card was, and I got someone whose Spanish accent was so thick I could hardly understand her. She gave me some nonsense about her supervisor "reaching out" to me at some unknown time in the future. I then hung up and called again, and this time spoke to someone whose native language was English and she arranged to have another card sent out immediately. Now was that really so hard?

Terrible lines at pharmacy, coupled with pharmacy assistant unable to enter my insurance ID correctly. After 20 minutes of errors, ended up paying out of pocket in order to move the line along.

I was very disappointed with how I was treated when I tried to get a vaccine that I scheduled online at this Walgreens. First I was told I needed to go to my doctor to get it instead. And then when I informed the front desk staff that I had received a prior dose at this same Walgreens, she returned later after perhaps talking to the pharmacist that it was because I was at the cutoff age now. The pharmacist never came out to talk to me and my privacy was violated as the staff carried out the discussion while I was seated in front of another patron. The matter was overall poorly handled. I would recommend updating the online scheduler so that customers are aware of any arbitrary cutoff ages for specific vaccines and the pharmacist coming out to discuss any issues with vaccine administration in a private manner.

This is an overall review because I've been meaning to do it for awhile. Years ago they had the best pharmacist there. He was Asian and the best pharmacist ever. Now, I never see the same staff there. I think Walgreens should send a secret shopper to get a prescription so they can see just how long it takes to get through the drive thru. I have had a lot of different experiences at this Walgreens. They have actually given me the wrong medicine twice. I always double check to see what the pills etc should look like. The other problem I have is they seem to close the drive through on a dime. I have a disability I use the drive thru because I need to. I don't need to drag myself in the pharmacy with a bunch of sick people..I'm already immunity compromised. Drive thru takes a long time, they have been closed for COVID test, power outages, just because. I just think someone in corporate should do a few runs through as a customer. Thank you. ps. The staff is usually very nice and helpful.

Is This The Pharmacy? ...just as i I was prepared to pick up my prescription and have my information transferred to another pharmacy, I had the best experience that I have ever had at this pharmacy. The line was long, when I walked in, and there were at least eight people ahead of me. There was only one pharmacy technician and one pharmacist to the best of my knowledge. This particular day, I wasn't feeling well but knew that I needed my medication. I was prepared to wait much longer than usual but, the technician (by the name of Sienna) did her job better than a pro! She was organized, communicated well, was professional and most of all she didn't take 20 years to find a prescription. She knows the job and truly represented this store well. Her accuracy, knowledge and speed reflected a positive image on the Walgreens Company. I watched as she patiently assisted seniors and this really touched my heart...someone's grandparent, parent or senior relative... I was smiling within as this is how people should be treated. My experience, over the past few years had been just the opposite and I had made plans to leave. I will stay because I am seeing a positive change. It is my hope that the store appreciates Sienna's dedication and commitment to Walgreens. Treat good employees like a precious diamond. Sienna is truly one of the few diamonds in a pile of glass. A good experience keeps customers coming back...

Worse pharmacy personnel. Let me sit for 10 minutes at drive up window. Finally I press button to speak to someone and they say drive through is closed. When I pulled up there was a car already in line. No sign on windows saying it is closed. Tell me to get inside in 4 minutes to get my prescription or they will close. The most disrespectful customer service.

They had my prescription for over a week and never bothered to get a price. Now telling me that they want me to make a 2nd trip back. Terrible service at pharmacy.
