I am BEGGING you, do not come here. This place is an absolute mess. I went to get glasses and they couldn’t find my prescription. They later called me to get my glasses and they entered the wrong prescription. When I came to get the replacement the prescription itself the doctor gave me was wrong and they said I needed to get a new prescription and that I would have to pay for it because it’s been 100 days since my original appointment. THEN they charged my insurance for glasses and never actually gave me the glasses.

My assistant was pretty helpful and knowledgeable. However I Could have been better informed as to what I was going in for before hand. The other person working there that day seem kinda bland towards me and other customers. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

Great expertise from associates. Very well sufficient and accurate with all needs. I assure anyone to deal with Visionworks, they are the best. Always willing to help finding what you need in store or out.

When I went to pick up my daughter’s glasses it was 7 min before closing and I found the doors locked and the lights out. There were two ladies that could be seen through the glass. One came to the door and “said picking up?”, what’s the name and closed the door, locked it back and left my daughters and I on the sidewalk outside of the building. She came back to tell me that she didn’t see the order. I asked if she could look it up in the system and she said the system was shut down at 5:30. I said but you close at 6pm? She said yes, I then inquired about the corporate number because I know that being serviced from outside the door in addition to the system being shut down before closing cannot be a corporate practice. She then locked the door back and shorty returned with the glasses. While standing in the doorway, and us still outside, she asked my daughter to try on the glasses and then adjusts them for her (in the doorway). Clearly, the staff closes the store early so that they can walk out at 6pm. Normally, the staff of a retail business doesn’t get off exactly at closing time because they have to then shut everything down. I don’t get off work until 5pm and I had to rush home to get my daughter and rush to get her glasses for school. This was the only time that I could come and was my fist time at this location. In the future, I will continue going to Owings Mills where the orders come in in 3 days and I am not treated like someone begging for change outside of the door.THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!

Great experience, did my appt in the location but online it was surprisingly simple and easy. One zi did my exam with the techs in the location I was taken to a room where everything else was done virtually. Great experience. Then I was able to select my new frames get fitted by staff in the location. They were both helpful and made frame selections. My glasses even arrived sooner then expected.

I've been trying to get my sons prescription faxed to me for a week now. They leave you on hold forever then tell you it will be faxed, just to never do it. Crazy thing is I use to work here a long time ago the service was way better. THIS PLACE IS TRASH!!!!

this location is super ghetto & slow. Had to wait over an hour to be seen even with an appointment. Staff unprofessional, one tech was dressed as if she forgot she had work today and was running to the store. The Ellicott city location is much better.

Dr Amin Ali was thorough, gentle and informative. The staff that checked me in took the initiative to determine what my insurance covered. A great experience overall.

I was greeted immediately, upon asked to be seated, someone approached me and directed me to one of the screening rooms to start the exam process. Total time at the location, exam and fitted for new glasses was under 1 hour. Very pleased with my experience.

I regret to share my deeply disappointing experience with Visionworks, particularly the lack of professionalism and organization exhibited by their staff. I had scheduled an eye exam for both myself and my father on July 21st, only to arrive at the store and find it virtually deserted, with just one lady present. To our utter dismay, she informed us that the doctor had left for the day, resulting in the abrupt cancellation of our appointment. It is undoubtedly unprofessional for a doctor to leave when there are scheduled appointments, as it shows a complete disregard for the customers' time and commitment.Adding to our frustration, the lady at the store falsely claimed that we were notified of the cancellation in advance through a phone call. However, upon checking our call logs, there were no missed calls from Visionworks on that day. Despite this inconvenience, we chose to give them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled our appointment for the following Friday, July 28th.Regrettably, history repeated itself, and our second appointment was canceled as well, with the notification coming in only a few minutes before the scheduled time. What made this situation even more infuriating was the fact that we were right outside the Visionworks location, ready for our appointment when we received the last-minute cancellation. This level of unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable, as it displays a lack of consideration for the customers' schedules and further wastes their time.To compound matters, the cancellation was not recorded accurately in their records. Consequently, I have received a message claiming that we missed our appointment, shifting the blame onto us when, in fact, it was solely Visionworks' fault for not honoring their commitments.I am appalled by the lack of accountability and organization demonstrated by Visionworks' staff. Their dismissive treatment of their customers is inexcusable, and I strongly advise anyone considering doing business at this particular location to reconsider and seek out more professional establishments that take their responsibilities seriously.

I walked in to find the sales associate sitting at her desk on her phone with her feet up in the chair. She called me over to attend me but didn’t bother to take her feet off her chair or to put her phone down. I gave her my insurance card and when she handed it back to me she just waved it in the air and didn’t say anything. She just pointed at the wall I could browse and didn’t give me anything to hold the glasses (which is normal at other places so they can disinfect them). When I asked her exactly which ones my insurance covered (which shelf) she got visibly annoyed with me and begrudgingly looked up from her phone to tell me in a rather rude way. The glasses were all smudged and dirty and there were duplicates all down the wall to make it seem fuller than it actually was. All around bad experience, I went to MyEyeDr. and got incredibly better service (not sponsored in any way).

Welcoming atmosphere, attractive and friendly associates, very orderly and wait time very short, doctors very concern about the health of my eyes. Glasses are very affordable and appealing. Your eyes will love you entering the doors of Visionworks

Awful experience and if I can stop one person from being ripped off by them I will be happy. They deceived me into believing they had authorization for exam and when my daughter came out they stated copay was $50 for visit. When I paid it unsure if this was a copay for visit and got policy in writing they stated i was not on network with them an it was my fault for trusting the 20 minute insurance check and refused to refund anything. I don't even trust that prescription is correct. We scheduled with a reputable business an for a new exam. I could have throttled the young lady who defended herself and her actions.

Customer service is good but just make sure that all of your information for your glasses are being entered correctly. I had to send two pairs back & wait a total of a month for my glasses.
