We primarily use our Sam's Club membership for gas. The prices are great but the gas station can be very very crowded at times, you have to learn when to go to avoid those crowds! The scan an go feature is a real timesaver when you are at the pump. No need to swipe membership card and payment card when you use scan and go! Also love using Scan and Go when shopping inside the club, anything to avoid those long, long lines! Giving 5 stars for the convenience of scan and go in the club and at the pump.

Why are they sooooo slow in here? Curbside order take 2 days to pick up. Online order takes forever. I mean I shop with the scan and go app so I get in and out pretty easily but when I'm doing my Spark Delivery and picking up orders for people, it takes forever.

I have a complaint that I need to share with someone :-) Overall the store is showing improvement from what it use to be. My complaint is based on a product that they carry. I love the flavored butters that they sell at Sam's, however the containers are half full. $6.97 for half a tub of butter.I called this highway robbery!!!

Member Services may place you on hold for 30 minutes, and the curbside pick up isn't a great experience. For my 6-7p pick up time, I wasn't prompted to check in. I called Membership services for clarity, then placed on hold again.

This Sam's Club is incredibly busy, the parking lot is huge but a nightmare, the parking lot is not well lit, carts are littered everywhere, and there are just people emerging out of nowhere in the parking lot no matter the time of day or day of week I've visited. Thank goodness for the self-checkout and Scan and Go features that enable you to quickly get in and out! I used self-checkout. I just needed a few items for a party so my visit was brief. I wish there was a way, like Home Depot and Lowe's, that tells you which aisle and bay a specific product is to avoid wandering around aimlessly (the generic overhead signs are somewhat useful).

The employees move around this store like they're slogging through waist high sand. Maybe it's a morale problem or just poor leadership, but the lines are usually long and the cashiers S L O W, especially if there's any sort of problem. The management or supervisor moved just as slowlyand after about 15 minutes of delay while working out a pricing problem, not even a "thank you for waiting." Not my favorite location.

Came here for one of their rotisserie chickens for a quick dinner option. And a key lime pie...and the Korean beef ready to cook with onions and seasonings. Checkout was a bit of a wait, but it's Sam's Club so what did I expect? They had a ton of other goodies, but I'm trying to stick to my list...which I didn't of course (hence the key lime pie and Korean beef impulse purchases) Overall, a great place to shop...if I could just stick to my list and stop impulse buying...my guess is that they know this already, lol!

I was in the store and saw a laptop for clearance sale. Spoke to the customer service after taking a slip with marked price and also marked "please take one". The lady told me item is not for sale and not in stock. She told me there are 2 available in other store in Laurel and when I talked over the phone at thee Laurel location, I was told item is cancelled. I was surprised that something is not working here. I asked to the lady at catonsville location that what if I want to buy the item that is there. She said no. Really? if that is so where do they go ? It was not a good experience.

Look I am sick and tired of hearing these out of state ppl complain about how bad Maryland is. Look if it is so bad then don't come back but I guarantee it is just as bad in whatever state you live in. But with the sound of some of these ridiculous reviews I should say "whatever planets you come from" I mean what are these ppl thinking?? They sure aren't thinking about the fact that these ppl are risking their health and in some poor cases their lives for, most of the time, minimal pay so that these vicious and ignorant ppl can by whatever suits their fancies. Not even what they need in most cases because those ppl are appreciative and tolerant of the situation. I just can't understand what is wrong with some ppl. And not 1 of these vicious and rude ppl even think about thanking these courageous ppl working these menial jobs just so the high and mighty can have their pistachios or the new flavor imported Gelato. Look I give all the respect and adulation to everyone working in these fields because it is these ppl that are truly keeping this country moving forward. Thank you so very much Charles Rowan

This location is awful. Customer Service employee Vannessa is lazy and not helpful. She has been there since they open and she's the worst employee not helpful to members. They need to take her off of the Customer Service desk and not allow her to work with members... I went in there with an item that I needed to return and I usually use Scan and Go. Sales slips are online and Scan and Go was offline. She was not helpful and told me she couldn't help me. I ask for a Manager

During a visit home to Catonsville I visited this Sam's Club off of Baltimore national pike which is by far the worst I've ever been to during peak hours. The parking lot is large yet always pretty much filled to capacity. The gas station usually has a long line so unless you have time on your hands pay a tad extra to get gas across the street. I'm not sure what the maximum capacity is but I would not be surprised if they surpass it every weekend. Once inside the store surprisingly I was able to maneuver well and get my items quickly. It took me 10 minutes to find what I needed. My biggest complaint is the self check out lines. There were 2 lines with 50 plus people in each, 3 registers per line. The customers all seemed to be confused on how to check out on their own without the help of an associate. I stood in line for 45 minutes mainly because everyone in front of me needed help checking out. I was so stressed out when I left the store. Not sure if the other Sam's Clubs in Maryland are like this but I would travel to avoid this one if I lived here.

Terrible customer service at the cafe. I went there to pick up a few items and my 3 year old daughter wanted some ice cream. The woman at the checkout was friendly but when I got to the cafe I had a completely different experience. One guy was in front of us and my daughter and I waited patiently as the girl took his order. As soon as he left the counter the girl looked at me, smirked and put up the sign that the cafe was closed. Right in my face! She didn't even say a word. She could've at least said I'm sorry ma'am but we're closed. NOT stand there and let us wait in line. I didn't realize it closed at 7pm. It was only 7:01pm!!! so then my daughter started crying because I had told her we were getting ice cream. That rude girl really ticked me off. She needs customer service training ASAP. Don't let people wait in line and then slam a closed sign in there face without the common courtesy of opening your mouth to say something. This was on 7/12 at 7pm.

Whew. It's some over dramatic folks posting, lol. I love this location...close, convenient and I've never bumped into a rude employee. Perhaps because I never really need one because everything is always easily accessible and easy to find. The one thing that could improve is curbside pickup...it takes too long for orders to get prepared for pickup. I usually just use scan and go however...I really don't understand why folks still stand in lines in this club. Unless you're paying cash, it's literally no reason to.
